China started its first pilot projects of assets securitization in 2005, but it developed slowly. After the long pause of 2008-2012, the securitization of credit assets showed a greater vitality. An increasing number of financial institutions began to issue credit assets-backed securities to unleash the capital, diversify risks and increase assets’ liquidity. Various products appeared; cross-market exchange was realized; relevant laws and regulations were carried out. In 2014, CBRC(China Banking Regulatory Commission) issued “Notice of registration for the record work process of credit asset securitization”. The examination and approval system turned into filing system, which greatly simplified the approval process before the issuance. As a result, the securitization of credit assets in china is going to develop even faster. However because of the abundant kinds of issuers and basic assets, the extensive range of investors, the risks of securitization of credit assets will increase rapidly. The financial crisis in 2008 started in USA was mostly caused by an excessive inflation of asset securitization. Thus it is significant to study the securitization of credit assets risks, and to teach investors to improve consciousness of risk and establish perfect risk prevention mechanism, in order to maintain stability of financial market in China.First of all, this dissertation will present an analysis of participants, basic concepts of the assets securitization and the relevant theoretical basis. Secondly, it will analyze cu rrent situations of credit assets securitization and risks in China. Finally, based on the an alysis of the typical cases it will present instructions to reduce the risks of securitization of credit assets, in order to promote the development of credit asset securitization in ou r country, to perfect our financial markets.
