Research On Supply Chain Performance Of Sealed Price Auction From The Perspective Of Information Disclosure

The English auction, which has become the most familiar auction, is widely used in art auction market. Dutch auction has been widely used in flower auction market in Kunming Netherlands, and other places, those places which can use Dutch auction where there are very rich flower resources. But papers and researches on the sealed auction is less than the English auction.This paper contains two market model:the auction market and the consumer market, the auction mechanism can be the first price sealed auction and second price sealed auction, with two kinds of information disclosure:in the first-price sealed auction released is the highest auction price, the second-price sealed auction is published the loser’s price. From the perspective of information disclosure, consider the change respectively in both markets, eventually the whole supply chain.In order to simplify operation and convenience of analysis, the model in this paper only involves one supplier and two retailers, suppliers in the auction sells the goods of capacity of C in a bundle, the winner get the goods and pay for it. Also the winner and the loser get the product in the spot market. After the model formula is derived, using the software Maple to do the numerical analysis.The sealed-auction is rarely used in practice, generally used in the project, so we adopt four different engineering projects to do the actual case analysis. We investigated participates engineers in these four different project about the information value from these four project. By looking at the four a project bidding documents and later project accounts, to obtain the cost spent in these projects. Finally compare the actual and the numerical analysis, to find out whether they reach the same result or not.
