| After acceding to the WTO, Chinese export has increased year by year. With the deepen and development of international division of labor experienced, China also occupies important position in the global trading system. On the trade chain, how to choose our export strategy has always been the hot topic among domestic scholars. Especially after the economic crisis in 2007, a large number of export enterprises in our country suffered severely, even many coastal industrial enterprises confronted bankruptcy. Depend on this background, studying our country export specialization level, analyzing the professional level of exports whether has a long-term and stable stimulate on economy or not at this stage. Meanwhile, if it has ability to promote the economic sustainable development problems become the research hot spot and also to be the basis on formulating international trade policy in our country.Under the above background, this article mainly studies our country’s export specialization degree and trend, and studying on the specialization of export to China’s economic growth. Using Herfindal index, we measures export specialization level in industrial manufacturing industry in our country by the yearl999-2011, than professional curve drawing by nonparametric regression, and observation of dynamic evolution trend. In order to analyze the economic impact of this trend, we will be variable into the dynamic panel data model, adopt the method of generalized system from the impact test.Not only the export destination but also export products in our country appear concentrated trends at present stage, it is disadvantage to settling crisis and spreading risk. Based on the above background, we use empirical method to measure the specialization level of our country. This paper uses industrial manufacturing output value of 30 provinces in China from 1999 to 2011 in order to measure our export specialization level and find out the different trend among years. Finally, the result shows that the Chinese specialization level is not high as a whole, but it has formed a specialization export trend gradually during this period. To be more accurately, this trend present u-shaped:it is present negative correlation in the low GDP per capital area, after reach an inflection point, the higher the per capital GDP the higher export specialization degree. The inflection point is at about$6000 which is lower than that in the international, in that case the level of international development beyond that in China.The question that dose it contribute to our country economic on growth effect in such explore way is the next one we should discuss. Through the use of the dynamic panel data, we found that export specialization is not suitable for China, it cause a reverse effect on the economic, however investment, consumption, education and other factors promote the economic growth. While the regional samples showed that export specialization development in the eastern region which is beneficial to the economy, whereas in the Midwest. We also found that our country economy presents the convergence conditions gradually in recent years, regional gap is reducing. Consequently, to optimize the industrial structure we should implement diversified development strategies from the level of diversification, expanding trade with more countries, increasing the export destination, realizing the diversification of export products. From vertical diversification, strengthening independent innovation, exporting high value-added and high technology content product.Through the series ways to achieve changing the export concentration situation, boosting economic growth ultimately. |
