The Bank Of Construction,ZB Credit Risk Internal Control Research

In contemporary society, with the economic development, deeply globalization and international financial interaction, the importance of the banking industry is continued improving. Modern banks are taking more and more types of business being in more complicated and changeable environment and encountering the growing risks. Cases from the bankruptcy of Bahrain bank to the USA financial crisis in 08 years all show the importance of the internal controls of banks. So the credit asset as the main asset of banks, the bank internal control as the basic self supervision and control system have become the priority among priorities Especially at the present stage of our country, the credit business is still the main business of banks, the construction of internal control is still not mature So we can see the necessity of studying the commercial bank’s internal control standard of credit business now As one of the four state-owned commercial banks the China Construction Bank has set the pace in the level of internal control So the deficiency existed in China Construction Bank may also widely existed in other banks.Therefore this paper selects a small angle of view, to collect and study the statistics of ZB branch of China Construction Bank in the nearly two years and its typical problems in actual operation and then made the analysis on the situation of internal control of credit business. While affirmed the overall situation, I pointed out the problems like the need of client framework adjustments and the flaws in practice of investigation before loan and post loan management steps In addition some corresponding suggestions were put forward on the basis I hope that this paper will be helpful to ZB branch in improving its internal controlling, and to provide some references for other banks or financial institutions.
