With the development of financial industry in China, especially the innovation in the new financial products. Assets structure and the propensity to invest has changed obviously by Residents in China and the corporate sector, which leads to a series of change in the structure of assets and liabilities of commercial bank in our country, the problem of mismatch in assets and liabilities becomes more and more serious, besides, it is easy to be hit by The financial crisis if a financial market relies too much on short-term debt markets. The financial market in China is not rich enough, besides, the phenomenon of mismatch in assets and liabilities is very obvious. The bank of China and the other five banks lose a lot of money in the America’s financial crisis, furthermore, many foreign financial markets are very unstable in recent years. In the face of changing in the international financial markets, it is necessary to study the influence of the financial crisis impact on Chinese commercial banks.This paper has summarized literatures of mismatch in assets and liabilities studied by scholars at home and abroad, through theoretical derivation and the empirical model, using the data during the financial crisis, to study whether it is different in profitability, liquidity risk and interest rate derivatives influenced in Chinese commercial banks when the mismatch in assets and liabilities changes. The results show that the impact on commercial Banks’ liquidity, profitability and interest rate derivatives are changing when the mismatch in assets and liabilities is changing. According to the empirical conclusions, this paper puts forward some Suggestions about how to deal with the serious mismatch in assets and liabilities.
