With the improvement of China’s industrialization level,the rapid development of economy, the consumption grow with each passing day, also accompanied by a series of power quality problems, such as: grid doped with harmonic, Jian Xiebo and the impact of signal distortion, the electric energy metering instrument is generally designed based on power frequency and harmonic not, reasonably accurate measurement of impact signal distortion, this phenomenon has also attracted the attention of many experts and scholars at home and abroad in the research of measurement methods have made a lot of attempts, an experimental instrument containing reasonable measurement methods has become an urgent need, it is not only to verify the accuracy of the algorithm, at the same time to play under the foundation of future design of instrument. With the development of embedded technology, the embedded application of the electric energy measurement instrument based on the great help.Under this background, this paper designed a wavelet transform based on electric energy metering apparatus, complete the verification of measurement algorithm, to achieve real-time display of data on the measurement results.Experimental instrument design includes measurement algorithm design, scheme design, analog signal generator design, the main control unit design, graphic interface design, data acquisition module, dual core communication design,graphical user interface system design, experimental instrument generation need to measure the distortion signal through the analog signal generator. The data acquisition module to complete the data acquisition, the use of software development and software system of wavelet transform algorithm and experimental measurement instrument, the data processing is completed by usingthe wavelet transform algorithm, finally realize real-time display processing using the graphical user interface system after the data on the interface, this paper realized demand during the development of experimental instrument the application of design.Experimental instrument platform for the realization of the power measurement of power signal distortion, the experimental results verify the correctness and real-time operation of experimental instrument of wavelet transform measurement algorithm, which provides a certain reference value for the further study of metering device under the signal distortion of grid.
