| Following rapid development of high speed railway and heavy duty transport, large maintenance machineries become popular. The large maintenance machinery is self-powered. The machine is mainly used for track maintenance and material transport. In accordance with relevant regulations, its brake system must be capable of performig separate brake, automatic brake, emergency brake and unpowered echo, which is similar to locomotives.YZ-1 brake is a main type brake of large track maintenance machinery, which conforms to Chinese Railway Standards, and this brake is universal, simple and inexpensive. YZ-1 has served for many years and contributed to Chinese large maintenance machinery very much. However, some design defects were exposed in the past long time service. For promoting whole performance of civil large track maintenance machinery, it’s very important to develope a kind of large track maintenance machinery brake that possesses high Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety and low life cycle cost.The article introduces a few types locomotive and large maintenance machineries brake served in home and aboard and analyzes the trend of development of these brakes. The whole proposal for new YZ-1G brake was proposed which will use pure air control in a row.Following ideal of RAMS/LCC, we used pressure restricted valve instead of safe valve. New separate brake and automatic brake were redesigned. Anti-corrosion material was used in all main parts. Modelized design and integrated mount were used in this prospoal widely. Filter was improved. The new brake is better comprehensive performance. Though check, the reformed YZ-1G brake fillfull regulation of RAMS/LCC.The main parts of YZ-1G brake are integrated, which form YZ-1GK for cab modle and YZ-1G for vehicle modle. This brake is better integration than before. E/L conversion function is considerated to distributor valve, which is used to decrease pressure when the track maintenance machinery is unpowered echo. Controller, pneumatic integration bracket and fliter are a new proposal. A lot of internal structure of emergency valve is reformed. The structure is more simple and more reliable and easy to install. The other proven components don’t be reformed except the material of distributor valve is changed to aluminum.Related experiments show that the YZ-1G brake conforms large machinery maintenance machinery operation. The emergency brake act more quickly and reliably. Train tests show that the YZ-1G brake can operate 20 vehicles with 104 brake or 60 vehicle with 120 brake without any trouble. |
