With the rapid development of the economy in China, the power resources have become important energy in people’s living and social production. Due to a variety of electric equipment incrementally, in electrified wire netting there is a lot of unbalanced and nonlinear impact load that may lead to problems of electric power quality including voltage deviation, frequency deviation, three-phase unbalance, harmonics, inter-harmonics, the rising and dropping drastically voltage and surge current. These problems can cause the failure of electricity equipment and the losses of economic. By strengthening the power quality detection, users can take appropriate measures to prevent losses. So the power quality parameter detection has great significance.In this paper, we have researched current situation of power quality parameters at home and abroad, especially we have studied the method of the fundamental frequency and the method of harmonic and inter-harmonics. Based on the national standard of power quality parameters, we have studied the methods of power quality parameters. The focused research is about defects of methods and puts forward a new algorithm to overcome them. In this paper main work mainly includes the following aspects:(1) We have mainly researched the fundamental wave frequency measurement method. Based on FFT + FT spectrum refinement and window function researches we put forward a new frequency measurement algorithm. Due to large computational complexity of the algorithm, we combine the new algorithm with the golden section method of one dimensional search algorithm for further optimization. It greatly accelerates the speed and enhances the practicability.(2) In view of the shortcomings of harmonic, harmonic detection algorithm at present, we put forward an improved algorithm based on 2 FFT detection algorithm with the practical engineering application and discuss about the factors that affect the algorithm mainly including sampling, the sampling point number and AD digits. The algorithm has the characteristics of high precision and fast operation speed.(3) According to software requirement analysis, we have designed the overall software block diagram based on the FPGA + DSP + ARM platform and carried on the detailed design about data sampling and data preprocessing in FPGA and the electricity parameter calculation in DSP, data display and human-computer interaction in ARM and communication among different nuclear. We have realized the algorithm of the theory in practical engineering.(4) According to related provisions of the national standard, three-phase power quality analyzer has been tested with corresponding function and indicators in this paper. The results show that the power quality parameters of the algorithm which we use conform to the requirements of the national standard and have high reliability, high feasibility and good stability.We have has carried on the summary about work finally. This paper points out the shortage of the current study. And we put forward the direction in the future according to the summary content.
