In recent years, as the rapid development of china’s high speed railway, until 2015 year, the miles of china’s operational railway is up to 120000 kilometers, and the miles of operational high speed railway is up to 19000 kilometers, and 8 new high speed railway will been built in the national 13th five-year plan, and the miles of operational high speed railway will be up to 30000 kilometers, as the miles of high speed railway is being increased, the high speed railway bed disease is more and more, those problems, how to make sure the high speed rail way is safe and check the high speed railway bed disease as soon as possible, are needed to be solved.The high speed railway bed which has ballastless track is different from the common railway bed, the ballastless track which has the characteristic of high stability, uniformity of rigidity, better structural durability, easy maintain and technology relatively mature is widely used in China’s high speed railway.The ballastless track would be damaged and aging by Long term operation and the complex natural environment, and high speed train will cause more serious harm to the track, the bed plate disease which would cause railway bed mud pumping and roadbed subsidence is much most than other disease,those disease would reduce operational quality, and endanger traffic safety.The high speed plate is special and filled with reinforcement inside, which made the detection difficult, as the increasing disease of high speed railway bed, we need to find some new ways and technology to solve the problem of high speed railway bed checking work.The ground penetrating radar (short for GPR) is a new nondestructive detection equipment, it is a new electromagnetic methodwhich takes advantage the medium electrical deference to detect the unknown target, the GPR is the equipment with high detection speed, high resolution and nondestructive detection for the target, continuous imaging. It is widely used in The shallow stratum structure detection and masked defect high resolution detection, and get the satisfactory effect, as the GPR is maturity used in engineering and quality checking, people try to use it in high speed railway.This paper combines the operational principle of GPR and the related theory of high speed railway bed disease, and studies the application of GPR in high speed railway bed detection. By the simulation experiment of high speed railway board, we know the situation that the response of different disease by using difference frequency radar antenna. combine with the field testing result, and choose the equipment for high speed railway bed disease detection. We will verify the detection result by data processing and interpretation, and improve the criterion for judgment,find the classical radar images for high speed railway bed disease detection, the result will be used data interpretation later.The main content and study fruit of this paper as follow:1. The present situation of the detection of railway and subgrade diseases in our country is studied, and the significance and content of this paper are defined.2. Studied different high-speed rail board model, study the ballastless track structure disease, and the analysis of the mechanism of, for the selection of testing equipment.3. The composition and basic theory of the ground penetrating radar system are studied. No layered structure, the instrument must meet the resolution, stability, and electromagnetic penetration requirements of ballastless track, in order to carry out equipment selection.4. For high-speed railway ballastless track roadbed empty, density, void, crack and other typical disease,1:1 scale physical model. The performance of all aspects of radar is analyzed through the results of forward modeling to determine the best combination of test equipment.5.Through different high-speed rail lines for field testing, combined with forward result to determine disease, verification of radar antenna selection, it is concluded that the accurate detection of high-speed rail board disease the best equipment and method. It is proved that the validity and practicability of the geological radar combination of high-speed railway no ballastless track detection method and technology.
