Dynamic visual sensor closed-loop excitation source, is a kind of visual simulator, which is used to provide dynamic target for the dynamic visual sensor, and is used to provide optical excitation for the vision sensors measuring the attitude. This simulator can simulate visual target optical state that distance between 120 meters and 0.9 meters from the visual target to the visual sensor. The closed-loop system, consisting of the dynamic visual sensor closed-loop excitation source, visual sensor and dynamics simulation computer, can be used to provide semi-physical simulation experiments for video navigation system.According to the operating principles and technical specifications of the dynamic simulator, this paper discusses the the overall framework of the system and give the framework of the optical system. Considering realities of situation in this project, in the principle of the image display, spatial light modulator become the core device of the target image display and collimated laser generator is used to be the light source and the FPGA board is used to control the brightness of the image. Besides, for some problems that exists in this dynamic simulator such as stray light, size and brightness of the spot and data exchange timing issues, This paper give the solutions.In the algorithm that generate target image, proposing a calibration method to analysis the distortion factors, the simulator use the higher-order polynomial to map relationships between the spatial light modulator and the visual sensor to reduce the error that the optical system bring. Then algorithm gets the accurate target image by calculating the position, brightness, radius of the spot in the target image.According to the funcition in the dynamic simulator, in coordination with the moudles in the system framework, the software systems are designed including calibration program, laser-control program and dynamic simulator main program. Finally, the closed-loop system including the dynamic simulatior,visual sensor and the dynamic simulation computer passed the the closed-loop experiments, proving the ability to work cooperatively. And it can provide semi-physical simulation experiments for video navigation system.
