| With the development of computer science and information technology, BIM(Building Information Modeling) has been more and more widely used in building design field. It has brought enormous economic benefits and social benefits, highlighting the huge commercial value. However, the application and research of BIM technology in railway design field are still at the starting stage. The advantages and high efficiency of 3D digital design have not been reflected in the design. Thus, this thesis has tried to extend the concept of BIM to cover railway design field and conducted the following researches and works:(1)After the connotation, characteristics and value of BIM were summarized, the thesis analysised the background and the significance of the application of BIM technology in railway design field. Meanwhile, the application and development of BIM in both china and overseas were researched.(2)The methods of how to build the BIM model of track engineering based on Revit platform and how to perform secondary development on Revit to expand its function were conducted.(3)The family library of low vibration track(LVT) was created.(4)The thesis researched the programming methods of getting the family, modifying parameters and loading the family through Revit API. Based on the characteristic of LVT, the thesis also created some external applications, by which models were assembled and concrete models were reinforced.(5)A research on how to create models in curve section was made. Families were load on curve by putting the adaptive points of the family on curve. Ultrahigh of the track slab were set by reseting the control parameters. Besides, the method of how to load bracing block on space curved surface in curve section was researched.(6)At the end of this thesis, it made a simple research and application on how to apply the BIM modle to the whole life cycle of an engineering project. |
