Research On Initiative Missile Defense Guidance On Differential Game

Considering the increasingly sophisticated missile defense system of the United States, and more and more complex environment of space combat, the defending and attacking of missiles between different countries is becoming heating up. In this paper, we focus on solving the three-body defending and attacking problem, we put forward a kind of initiative missile defense strategy based on differential game theory. In order to protect the target missile from the interception of the homing missile launched by enemy’s missile defense system, in the premise of no effect on its own guidance law, the target missile makes maneuvers and launches a defending missile to intercept the attacking missile, which is a dynamic game process. To solve this three-body problem, we assume no saturation for every missile, they have ideal dynamics and perfect information sharing. Based on the above assumption, the following research work is carried out in this paper:First, establish the relation motion kinematic and dynamic model. Without knowing the guidance law of the homing missile, the paper uses the arbitrary order dynamic model to describe the missile flight, according to the geometry and the kinematic, the paper derive the nonlinear kinematic model. By selecting the appropriate state variables, convert them into a form of state-space equations.Secondly, the optimal cooperation strategy of missile is derived and the solution of the strategy is analyzed. The classical two-body linear quadratic differential game guidance law and the three-body cooperation linear quadratic differential game guidance law is derived and analyzed.Then, the CLQDG is compared with LQDG. Simulate this two kinds of differential game guidance law. The flight trajectory, overload, zero effort miss, energy consumption are compared.Finally, research on the effect factors of the initiative missile defense guidance on differential game. In actual combat, the missile flight characteristics and information sharing will be affected by many factors, so the paper will analyzed the influence of different factors, etc. Missile maneuver capability, information sharing and the target missile maneuver.Through the above research, we found that there are many advantages of the initiative missile defense guidance on different game, the target missile can choose the intercept time, and release the need for target missile maneuver, by choosing the suitable parameters, we can get optimal guidance strategy, increase fault-tolerance and so on.
