Relative navigation technology based on vision measurement is widely used in space missions such as rendezvous and docking of spacecraft, and it is one of the main research topics in the world. In this paper, the overall scheme design of ground simulation system is analyzed in order to meet the needs of the visual navigation simulation test environment. At the same time, based on the principle of photogrammetry, the image processing algorithm is designed and implemented. Finally, the ground simulation test system used for visual navigation is realized.In the overall project design and research, taking into account the actual application scenarios of the visual measurement system and the specific needs of the actual project, The design of the far-field angle measurement navigation simulation system and the near-field position and orientation navigation simulation system is carried out, including the basic components of the system analysis, workflow design, data and system control process and simulation system measurement software design.In the measurement algorithm research, the mathematical model of measurement and pose measurement of spatial object is established based on the principle of photogrammetry. According to the experimental conditions and the overall design scheme of the simulation system, the camera calibration algorithm, the point target azimuth measurement algorithm and the contour matching algorithm based on the contour matching algorithm are designed and implemented. The performance of the algorithm is tested by digital simulation and laboratory simulation test, and the test results show that the algorithm can meet the design requirements. On the ground simulation system integration and test research, according to the requirements of the subject, the system hardware parameters calculation, selection, measurement software system implementation, system integration, testing and evaluation work is carried out. The visual navigation ground simulation system is in good operating condition, which can stably carry out the measurement of the angle of the target and the position and orientation, and the accuracy can meet the design requirements, Furthermore, this system provides an experimental test environment for the development of the vision based relative navigation system for the next step in the laboratory environment.
