21century, with the development of social economy and the improvement of living quality,the contradiction between people’s increased demand for green organic food and our countryreduced arable agriculture area becomes prominent increasingly."Plant factory" can achieve themultiple goals of crop high yield, high quality, ecological, safety and so on, becomes a trend ofagricultural development at present and in the future. Plant factory refers to the facility throughcontrolling the plant growth environment (light, temperature, carbon dioxide concentration,nutrients, water, etc.), and observing crop fertility status, produced vegetables and other cropsdesignedly throughout the year, will be the ultimate form of agricultural facilities.The thesis designs a small crop growth environment simulation system——plant growthcabinet through research the key technologies of plant factory, simulates ecologicalenvironment artificially according to the needs of crop growth and development, through thesensor technology and the embedded technology, measurements and controls cabinettemperature, humidity, light intensity and other environmental parameters automatically,enables crops obtain suitable environmental conditions in anti season, reef islands, high altitudeoutpost, submarines and other non-favorable environmental conditions, achieves the goal ofearly maturity, high-quality and high-yielding. The plant growth cabinet can also be used infamily, not only can satisfy family to vegetable safety, health, green, and edify sentiment, thedemand of close to nature, but also can absorb the CO2in living environment, releasing largeamounts of O2, creates a "natural oxygen bar" for the family and office buildings.The crop growth environment simulation system uses the low power consumptionmicroprocessor ARM9as the core, can simulates the natural environment with the LED plate,the temperature humidity sensor, CO2concentration sensor, etc., and creates a variety ofcombinations of suitable plant growth environment according to the setting of parameters.The crop growth environment simulation system is not affected by seasons, can harvest allyear round simply by operating the interactive interface to set various environmental parametersand passing to the control system, then the light, water, carbon dioxide, temperature, humiditythat crops needs will be controlled automatically, the whole process is smart, don’t need to worryabout any problems in the process of crops growth. At the same time, the vegetables and fruit arebetter of shape, organic, pollution-free and nutrient-rich. People can not only enjoy safe,pollution-free fruit, also can experience the fun of the sowing, harvesting with their hands.
