Eel aquaculture is developing fast main in Guangdong and Fujian, andjiangxi,Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangxi and other provinces also have distribution. Intensive pondand traditional pond are two most widely eel culturing methods. Study is main on thredifferent eel farming model to provide a reference for the establishment of a healthy,energy-saving, environment-friendly mode of eel farming. The results are as follow:(1)Experiment of europe eel culture by semi-closed recirculating systemThis research is mainly about europe eel culture by the semi-closed recirculatingsystem to improve the breeding effect、reduce environmental pollution and establish alow-cost, environmental friendly mode of eel farming. The water quality in the systemwere as follows: the ammonia nitrogen density0.73~11.14mg/l,the nitrite nitrogendensity0.01~2.2mg/L, the nitrate nitrogen density5.00~26.89mg/L、DO4.7~5.1㎎/L,pH6.9~7.6,water temperature21~22℃.The water exchange of the system was23.6%ina day.After being raised for75days, the average body weight of eel increased from10.8g to16.2g and the survival rate98.72%.SGR is0.54%/d and FCR is2.06.This modehas advantage as follow: better effect of water treatment、easy to transform and operate、better water saving in the winter.(2) Transforming traditional eel ponds patterns by water treatment technologyThe research is mainly transforming traditional eel ponds patterns by watertreatment technology,including A、B、C、D、E、F ponds. The water quality in thesystem were as follows: the ammonia nitrogen density10.72~17.85mg/l,the nitritenitrogen density0.24~4.62mg/L, the nitrate nitrogen density0.87~6.73mg/L、watertemperature18.5~21.2℃/DO4.5~5.1㎎/L, pH7.1~7.6,.The water exchange of thesystem was24.40%in a day.After being raised for80days, the average body weight ofeel increased from177.7、122.6、190.1、270.9、255.6、249.1gto253.0、166.9、284.9、335.8、323.3、306.9g,total weight from4959、5018、5289、5897、6613、6200㎏ to7060、6831、7924、7312、8363、7669㎏and the survival rate more than99%.SGRis0.44、0.39、0.51、0.27、0.29、0.27%/d and FCR is2.15、2.02、1.84、2.00、2.21、2.28. This mode has advantage as follow: easy to transform and operate、better watersaving in the winter, effectively alleviateing the deterioration of water quality. However,because of the larger total system water, limited circulation rate lead to high waterquality indicators.(3) Research on the cultivating eel in a recirculating aquaculture systemThe eel were cultivated in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS),includingfour ponds A、B、C、D。The water quality in the system were as follows: the ammonianitrogen density0.66~5.37mg/l,the nitrite nitrogen density0.01~0.25mg/L, the nitratenitrogen density5.59~38.70mg/L、 water temperature21~22℃、 DO4.5~6.0㎎/L,pH6.1~7.5.The water exchange of the system was10%in a day.After being raised for75days, the average body weight of eel increased from12.73、12.73、33.2、74.7g to21.92、26.13、58.71、141.61g,total weight from6.10、6.30、23.00、11.55㎏to9.10、11.05、38.75、21.95㎏and the survival rate92.22%、93.60%、97.06%、96.87%.SGR is0.72、0.96、0.76、0.95%/d%/d and FCR is1.74、1.55、1.64、1.64。This is a green,safe andwater saving new culture mode....
