In order to investigate the prevalence of Tibetan sheep Fasciola hepatica and putforward reasonable measures for control and prevention it in Qinghai province, epidemiological investigations of Fasciola hepatica and comparative anthelminticstudies were carried out of84Tibetan sheep in26villages from the countries ofMinhe, Minhe, Hualong, Huzhu, Gangcha, Wulan and Gonghe from September in2012to September in2013.The results showed that, in Qinghai province, the incidence of FascioliasisHepatica in Tibetan sheep was about40.48%. Feacal samples were taken from therectums of sheep selected randomly from sampling points, and the eggs werecollected by copper wire mesh screen and nylon net. It showed that the infection rateof Fasciola Hepatica in Tibetan sheep was32.22%, and the hightest one was54.70%which were feed on on the benchland at the most time; the most number of sheepwere between1~2years osd, and with a high rate of infection about38.26%.Lots of sheep from Huzhu and Wulan country where with serious FascioliasisHepatica were tested by Niclofolan, Albendazole, Triclabendazole, and Ivermectin, which were always used and carried out the comparative deworming study ofdifferent anthelmintics. Last, morphology of the insect body and the liver which werelesions were made tissue section were observed. The insecticide rate ofTriclabendazole was100%after15days, and a good effectiveness was showed inpreventive test. These parasites which were found in the bodies of Tibetan sheep were dividedinto two groups---obvious and unconspicuous characteristic of the shoulders. These parasites which had no obviously characteristic on the shoulder wereobserved from morphologically by intestinal with dye, by scanning electronmicroscope and measured the length and width of the parasites′body, they were1.8~3.4cm and0.7~1.2cm, the L/W was2.38~3/1. And it was identied as Fasciolahepatica preliminarily. The high rate of infection and sickness of Fasciola hepatica was contact with thefeeding medels, environment and the age of sheep, and Triclabendazole is better forusing in Qinghai.
