Biochar is a solid matter with porous structure produced by pyrogenation of biomass at the anaerobic or anaerobic conditions. Biochar is a hot spot of research in recent years, but as compost additives and the study of crop growth and environmental impact was still in its infancy in the domestic. This paper researched the effects of biochar on aquatic plant composting process in nitrogen, carbon nitrogen of changes and loss, and compost quality. The field experiments were conducted to study the effect of biochar amendment with high and low nitrogen fertilizer on crop yield, soil and ecosystem greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4and N2O) emissions from rice paddy. Main conclusions of the study are as follows:1、Biochar can effectively change the physical and chemical properties of composting. With the increase of biochar content, the accumulated temperature of composting reduced significantly. Biochar can improve the PH of composting, add the6%processing of biochar is significantly. Biochar helps reduce the EC of aquatic plants in the compost, add6%handling of biochar is significantly lower than the control. A certain amount of biochar will increase significantly the nitrate nitrogen content and reduce ammonium nitrogen content, and the biochar content is inversely proportional to the total nitrogen content. Biochar can reduce the ammonia volatilization and emissions of CO2and CH4, but increase N2O emissions.2、In different nitrogen conditions, PH and organic matter content of soil are as biochar application volume of increased and increased. In high nitrogen conditions (375kg/ha) application40t/ha biochar processing of organic carbon and total nitrogen significantly increased. In application of20t/ha of biochar, under the condition of high nitrogen treatment of organic carbon was significantly higher than that of low nitrogen treatment. N application level and biochr has synergistic effect on the accumulation of organic carbon.3、Application of biochar increased CH4emissions and significantly reduced N2O emission from paddy fields. Using biochar treatment compared with the control treatment, an increase in CH4emissions in paddy fields is32.12%-73.94%and44.85%-65.83%.And the average of N2O emissions is75.3%-84.4%and81.7%lower than the control treatments.4、Biochar has a certain effect on rice growth.under the same level of nitrogen, with the increase of applying biochar total nitrogen and total phosphorus content of rice plant showed a trend of decrease, and the silicon content of rice plant has a tendency to improve. The rice yield trend is BC20>BC40>BC0.Under high nitrogen levels (300kg/ha), the application of20t/ha and40t/ha biochar rice yield was significantly higher than control.
