This paper investigates in the allelopathic effects on Agropyron cristatum and Poa annua, when treated with aqueous extracts of8kinds of plant and their mixture from typical grassland. We aim to present the relationship among Stipa grandis plants composition on grassland, enhance some fundamental achievements on steppe community and plant allelopathy research, and provide theoretical foundations of grassland recovery and reconstruction. The seeds were treated with5different concentrations of2kinds of plants. The research results are as follows:1. The effects of8kinds of plants on Agropyron cristatum are enhancing along with the increasing extracts concentration. When the concentration arrives at50g/L, both germination percentage and germination index of Agropyron cristatum are significantly inhibited by Stipa grandis, Stipa krylovii, Agropyron cristatum, Cleistogenes squarrosa, Artemisia frigida and Allium mong olicum, while Thmus mandschuricus and Potentilla acaulis have no significant inhibition effects on Agropyron cristatum.2. As for the synthetical allelopathic index of Agropyron cristatum for aqueous extract of8kinds of plants at the concentration of50g/L, the Agropyron cristatum and Allium mong olicum have the highest synthetical allelopathic index, while Potentilla acaulis has reletively lowest synthetical allelopathic index.3. The effects of8kinds of plants on Poa annua are also enhancing along with the increasing extracts concentration. When the concentration arrives at50g/L. the seeds germination percentage and seeds germination index of Poa annua are both inhibited by the8kinds of plants.4. As for the synthetical allelopathic index of Poa annua for aqueous extract of8kinds of plants at the concentration of50g/L, the Allium mong olicum, Cleistogenes squarrosa and Thmus mandschuricus have the highest synthetical allelopathic index, while Potentilla acaulis has reletively lowest synthetical allelopathic index.5. The mixture solution also has allopathic effect, and its allopathic inhibition effect is strong. Additionally, the synthetical allelopathic index of mixture solution is stronger on Agropyron cristatum, compared with the Poa annua.
