The Tree Volume table is one of the most important tool in forest resources survey and forest management, it is the most step to realize digital forestry. The two-entry volume as a important content of the tree volume table, it can improve the work efficiency and quality of forest resources survey greatly.In the study artificial poplar of southeast Chifeng area were selected for test, extracting the numbers of sample about1338. Three times the standard deviation method is used to eliminate abnormal data sample3strains, Sample divided into two forms based on crown type, it is big type crown poplar and small type crown poplar. According to the principle of test sample is no less than make table sample1/3, all sample were divided into test sample and make table sample. Selecting ten of two-entry volume equation which is commonest. Using ForStat2.2software, fitting the volume equation by least square method, calculating the parameter of the volume equation. By evaluating volume equation and adaptability results of the volume equation, getting the best two-entry volume equation, Both of them are the Dynamic Binary Volume Yamamoto type. Among them the big type crown poplar two-entry volume equation: V=0.0000856338×D2.204906523-0.019796543(D+2.5943431361H)xH0.430169967+0.038006277(D+0.9408300516H) Small type crown poplar two-entry volume equation: V=0.0000334368×D1.757329279--0.008542696(D+2.103427714H)xH1.315089008+-0.0166295935(D+0.791586427H)Using the two-entry volume equation of big type crown poplar and small type crown poplar, compilation the artificial poplar two-entry volume table in southeast Chifeng area.
