Three methods were used in the trial to make comprehensive study in certain area, singletechnology breakthrough and simulation test in ZhongWei, QingTongxia, Helan, Pingluo andJingfen district of YinChuan. Different cultivation method was experimented in different area,Based on analyzing system structure, food cycle, water’s physical and chemistrycharacteristic, ecology system, efficient cultivation technology in rice field and breeding crab,set up a kind of technology system about rice-crab ecological planting and breeding system inNingxia. The results were as follows1. The rice-crab ecological planting and breeding system had good stability andself-maintain ability. The water environment was built with rice Strip surface, ditch, andtemporary breeding ditch, richen biology varieties, extended food cycle, increased resourceutilization rate of rice field, enhanced stability and self-maintain ability of the whole system.The results showed that plankton community in rice filed was uncertain due to limited waterarea, less kinds of species, homogeneity weak, and unstable community2.Drainage ditch was combination with crab ditch, double coupled mode whichincreased deepwater environment for crab growing and add the area6%~8%. It was the bestmodel to cultivate crab in rive field in Ningxia yellow river irrigation area.3.The cultivation pattern of rice dry-raising and sparse-planting was the best way to dealwith the relationship between crab’s growth and rice field management. The ditch raising craboccupied part of rice field, but the rice quality was better than others with closing planting inborder row. Choosing rational planting time and suitable fertilizer could reduce theenvironmental pollution.4.Ninggen, Number27,36,38,40,43, those five rice varieties were better to cultivatecrab because of their growth period, disease resistance, lodging resistance and other factors.5.While the density was40000per667m2the weight, length, and width changedsignificantly in rice field. The relative growth rate of crab was quickly as rice was duringheading period and later mature stage; the fastest one was before jointing stage.6.The crab’s standard, production, recapture rate increased greatly with complete formulafeed than those crabs fed with white, rice skin, rapeseed meal and bean cake mixture with green fodder. The crabs grew quickly and bigger with adding animal bait. The length, widthand weight were higher7%,1.10%and27.35%7. The rate of crab’s survival was greatly influenced with fatten in winter. The weight ofyoung crabs increased with their weight1%-2%fatten, significant in hepatopancreas,recapture rate of young crabs were more than others, which were no fatten. And the amount ofdisable or weak crabs tendered to less and less, sexual precocity was avoided in the followingyear.8. A new model of rice-crab ecological planting and breeding was established andextended in Ningxia with double ditch coupling, wide and narrow row space without ridge,tri-stereo planting,ecological culture. A good benefit of1+1=5was got from2009to2013. Inthe past four years, the extended area1000mu in2009,54000mu in2010,93000mu in2011,137000mu in2012,166000mu in2013.
