Abstract:As the basis of human survival and development, grain plays a special role in people’s life and national economic development. However, the grain stored in the granary often affects by insects, mold and other harmful organisms, which causes great losses. How to eradicate the granary pest in a green way is always an important topic all over the world. In this paper, based on the theory of athermal biological effects of the magnetic field, combined with the magnetic field theory, we designed an interference device. We use silkworm eggs as the experimental subjects to do a series of magnetic interference experiments. The device was proved to be availability by analyzing the experimental data. We also discuss the mechanism of biological effects of the magnetic field on silkworm eggs.Firstly, we refer to a lot of previous research results and data, and have a certain understanding on the mechanism of biological effects of magnetic fields, which detennine a direction for our research. Then in the next few chapters of this paper, we mainly introduce the built of the magnetic field, the design of the device’s hardware and software system, and the magnetic interference experiment. In the building of the magnetic field, the magnetic field excitated by single piece of permanent magnets and double magnets were analyzed, and the analytical expression is deduced. We then did an actual measurement on the magnetic field of permanent magnet to prove the correctness of the analytical expression. Finally, we use the software of matlab to simulate the spatial magnetic field to guide the building of a uniform magnetic field. The device’s most important design is using single chip microcomputer control DC motors, driving train platform rotate in a magnetic field to achieve the goal of magnetic interference. By designing the hardware and software systems to realize the real-time display of motor speed and keyboard control, including start, stop, forward/reverse, acceleration/deceleration function. In the magnetic interference experiment, we use the silkworm eggs as experimental subjects, and set a target parameter basic on magnetic field strength, interference frequencies, interference time. When the parameter close to or equal to the target value, the magnetic interference can cause a great impact on the hatch of silkworm eggs, including delay the development of the embryo and reduce the hatching rate of silkworm eggs. The experimental results proved the effectiveness of the device, and also proved that the magnetic field interference can cause impact on silkworm eggs’ hatching.
