Currently, chemical control is still the main method of prevention of tobacco budworm.Used mainly for pharmaceutical carbamate, organophosphate and pyrethroid, the first twocategories are acetyLDholinesterase inhibitors, which act on sodium channels, due to lessdrug types involved more single mechanism of action, tobacco budworm serious resistance.Difficulties in the development of new varieties of pesticides, coupled with the long marketdevelopment cycle increasingly serious pest resistance makes easy to produce effectiveprevention and treatment of drug-resistant pests increasingly scarce. In recent years, with thedeepening of structure-activity studies of people on a variety of pesticides, pesticidereasonably complex become a hot topic. Reasonably complex pesticides on the one hand toimprove the control effect, delaying resistance. On the other hand to reduce costs, reducepollution. Cyhalothrin has strong contact and stomach action, thiamethoxam is a novel andefficient neonicotinoid pesticides, Homoptera, Coleoptera and Lepidoptera pests section andother kind of drug resistant pest populations has excellent control effect. Thereforecypermethrin and thiamethoxam complex can complement each full play to their strengths,after research showed that:1In the fight against tobacco budworm, the test uses drip method cyhalothrin andthiamethoxam in formulation screening. The results showed that9%cyhalothrin+13%thiamethoxam mixed combination synergies significant toxicity regression equation was Y=6.1420+1.6378X, Each tobacco budworm’s median lethal dose is0.2008μg, R value of0.9945,toxicity coefficient (CTC) is232.2Field efficacy results showed that22%cyhalothrin· thiamethoxam microcapsulesuspension in two trials,2.5%of the control agents cyhalothrin water emulsion and25%thiamethoxam water dispersible granules exhibited significantly compared to control effects,dosage within8.42g/667m2~11.23g/m2range control efficiency reached90%, while22%cyhalothrin· thiamethoxam micro sac suspensions on tobacco aphids have achievedremarkable results, as the preferred chemical control of tobacco pests.
