Affected by global climate change, the southeast coastal areas in China has beendestructed by gradually frequent the tropical storm. however the wave attenuation and checkthe wind on mangrove is widely known as a mean of biological protection. To observe thefield of different types of mangrove in the southeast coastal, it has a better effection on wavedissipation of mangroves.Wave attenuation effect of mangrove Sonneratia apetala was studied at the nationalnature reserve of mangroves is located in ZhanJiang city, Guangdong province. Withobserving the field of25m wave,50m wave,75m wave. It better to research the waveattenuation of mangrove. The results showed analysis on mangrove of wave attenuation,Sonneratia apetala has a tendency of increasing with the rise of density of mangrove foreststands.The wave across the distance from01plot to03plot of mangrove,with1/10wave ofSonneratia apetala has reduced by34.61%,27.22%,29.75%.With travelling distance fromwaves, wave attenuation the mangrove has increased. while the depth of wave deeper anddeeper,, however Sonneratia apetala has decreased.As well as the decrease of waveattenuation rate with the rise of wave height.To the sum, the extent of wave attenuation effectof mangrove dependent on stand of volume density, struction of mangrove forests as theleading factor.However researching the Avicennia marina of wave attenuation ofmangrove,it has observed the distance of25m,50m,75m,100m through edge of forest.Theresults showed that Avicennia marina has better wave attenuation in practical observation,which has effect on structure of forest stands of density of mangrove forests. Passing throughmangroves from plot01(0-25m)、plot02(25-50m) to plot03(50-75m)、plot04(75-100m),1/10wave height of Avicennia marina has reduced by31.49%,35.23%,40.85%,38.88%. Avicenniamarina on wave attenuation has increased with increasing of water depth.As well asdifferentiational rate of wave attenuation with the rise of wave height.To the sum, the extentof wave attenuation effect of mangrove depend on stand of volume density from the ground to the branches and leaves, stand of volume density increases with wave attenuation.1/10waveperiod increases with increasing the distance of wave propagation.Through analysis and summary of field observation data, it has built wave atteunationregression model, whose between the stand structure of diameter at breast height、density onthe mangrove forest and the different distance with mangrove forests. Respectively,itdiscusses about relationship of25m,50m,75m and100m of mangrove forest stand structureand wave dissipation. For future better prediction of effect on wave attenuation and feasibilityof mangrove construction to provide foundation of support and basis on the forestsdevelopment.
