Rapeseed is the major oil crop of China, whose cultivated area and yield ranks first in theworld. In the production and cultivation of rape, the occurrence of pests seriously affects theyield and quality of rapeseed, of which flea beetle damage is particularly serious. Flea beetleis an important pest of rapeseed, which mainly feeds on seedling roots, leaves and other parts, seriously affecting the quality and yield of rapeseed in Qinghai region. Therefore, study ondifferent rapeseed varieties of the resistance to flea beetle was conducted in alpine region, providing new germplasm and theoretical guidance for oilseed rape breeding on resistant fleabeetle. In this study,20kinds of different types of varieties as tested materials were planted inQinghai Academy of Agriculture and Forestry University in2010and2011, using arandomized block design. Flea beetle damage rate and damage index of the different varietiesof oilseed rape seedling were investigated and conducted with DPS software analysis. Theresults showed that:1. The damage rates of Brassica juncea in2010and2011were both the lowest and hadan extremely significant difference from B. napus. The damage rates of B. napus wassignificantly lower than B. rapa. B. juncea had strong anti-flea beetle properties and anti-fleabeetle of B. rapa was the worst.2. Considering on damage rate and damage index, variety Qingyou241of B. rapa, variety Qingza5, Du903and Chuanyou1of B. napus, variety Yanxiaocun, multi-room andDalajie of B. juncea had relatively strong resistance on flea beetle, showing a strongresistance ability. Particularly, Yanxiaocun was not only as resistant breeding material, butalso can be used as resistant studied material from the physiological and biochemical levels.3. The damage rate and damage index of flea beetle of two ecotypes rapeseed varietieswere conducted by t test and the results showed that two ecotypes rapeseed varieties underdifferent environmental conditions showed no difference resistance on flea beetle. Springvarieties in Yanxiaocun and Du903damage index were lower, which had a significantdifference from Dahuang, Qingza2, Qingza4and CK. Semi-winter varieties Chuanyou1had a minimum damage index, had a significant difference from Ganhuang1, Zhongshuang10, Dahuang×Zhongchi and Zhongshuang7. Hierarchical clustering results showed that: When the Euclidean distance was5.3, the17varieties are divided into four categories, thehighest damage index Dahuang separately clustered together; Du903and Chuanyou1clustered together; B. juncea Yanxiaocun clustered into a single category; the remaining13species clustered together.4. Considering on the radar chart of damage index and yield, Yanxiaocun, Chuangyou1and Qingza5can be regarded as quality resources to study resistant breeding material.
