This paper studied the production property, and slaughter performance andnutrient digestibility by feeding different levels of grapes pomace on sheep toinvestigate nutritional evaluation of grapes pomace, in order to provide some basicdata and reference for mutton sheep by feeding different levels of grapes pomace onsheep.Experiment1: using Folin Ciocalteu reagent colorimetric means to analyze thegrapes pomace of common nutrients and condensed tannins content, the resultsexplained that the grape slag of dry matter, crude fat, crude ash, crude protein, calcium, phosphorus, the neutral detergent fiber, the acid washing lignin fibers, condensed tannins were94.00%,7.83%,10.12%,7.83%,0.71%,0.22%,36.00%,0.22%and1.88%.Experiment2: the test selects60Dorper (♂)×Small tail Han sheep(♀) hybrid F1male lamb weaned lambs, healthy and free from diseases, growing in goodcondition,including20d Preliminary trial days,10d preliminary trial days and60dpositive trial days and analyzing the effect of production property, slaughterperformance on lamb by feeding different levels of grapes pomace.they were dividedinto four groups, groupⅠ was basis diets, groupⅡ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ were treatment groupcontaining8%、16%and24%grapes pomace, which condensed tannins of thefeedstuffs were0,1.5,3.0and4.5g.kg-1individually.Results indicated that thegroupⅡ, Ⅲ,Ⅳ lamb, daily feed intake, total time gain, daily gain, carcass weight, body weight before slaughter, slaughter rate, net weight and feed utilization rat, netmeat rate and back fat weight is significantly higher than groupⅠ(P<0.05),lambgroup Ⅳof visceral fat weight was significantly higher than group Ⅰ(P<0.05),the difference was non-significant (P<0.05).Experiment3: choose6weight near average group lamb from each group for a6dof the digestibility and metabolism tests, the sheep was in the single metabolismcage. they were divided into four groups, groupⅠwas basis diets, groupⅡ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ were treatment group containing8%,16%and24%grapes pomace, whichcondensed tannins of the mixtures were0,1.5,3.0and4.5g.kg-1respectively.All dungand urine method is used to test some nutrients apparent digestibility and metabolicrate, the results showed that different group treatment for some apparent digestibilityof nutrients was also had a significant effect(P<0.05), group Ⅰ lamb ADFapparent digestibility was significantly higher than that of group Ⅳ(P<0.05),groupⅠ had a significantly higher N apparent digestibility of lamb group Ⅳ(P<0.05),group Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳand the lamb shall N rate significantly higher than that ofgroup Ⅰ(P<0.05). With the increase of tannin content, apparent digestibility ofNDF, ADF,and N decrease. apparent digestibility of DM,OM,Ca and P in smallchanges, but no significant statistic difference (P<0.05).
