Fish meal is an integral part of the aquatic feed as its nutrition is rich.Vacuum low temperature drying can reduce the boiling point of water, effectively avoid the high temperature oxidation degree of protein, to obtain high quality of fish products. This article mainly studied the efficient continuous vacuum low temperature drying equipment.The drying process which suitable for vacuum drying equipment was determined. The vacuum front-rear equipment also were designed on the key technology of the vacuum equipment,which ensures the vacuum environment. Focusing on the design of vacuum drying equipment’s structure,vacuum drying equipment structure. In addition, the vacuum drying machine spindle thermal stress was analyzed.The key issue about applying the vacuum drying equipment is the seal problem.Subject were studied respectively from the two aspects of front-rear auxiliary equipment and the native structure of the dryer. On one hand, by studying the front-rear process,designed sealing device such as vacuum in and out machine, seal conveyor, airlock machine. Which isolates the outside air and ensures the vacuum state when fish meal was feed and discharged. On the other hand, seal structure was designed between the spindle and the dryer cylinder, so as to guarantee the dryer cylinder maintain the production requirements of vacuum at work.According to the basis of design parameters, the material balance and heat balance,the total heat transfer area that vacuum dryer needed to complete the production task was calculated, and the the overall dimensions of the equipment was preliminary determined.Then according to the structure of the relationship between parts to complete specific structure size of parts. It mainly includes cylinder parts, the main shaft, transmission system, vacuum system, operation platform, auxiliary parts, etc.Besides, according to the theory of temperature field calculation of thermal stress the thermal stress analysis was carried out on the spindle by software Patran. Considering the main shaft is long and heating coil distributes regularly, to simplify the calculation,selected a part of the shaft to analyze. As a result the shaft temperature distribution nephogram, the thermal stress nephogram and the thermal deformation nephogram were gotten.
