Deutzia Thunb. is very important forest germplasm resources of Shandong. To better know and protect Deutzia Thunb. germplasm resources in Shandong, genetic diversity was studied on its DNA levels, and community ecology of Deutzia glabrata, which is precious species in Shandong, was studied also, providing basis for protect and application of Deutzia Thunb. germplasm resources. The main achievements as followed:1. Genetic diversity of 17 samples of Deutzia glabrata was examined by sequence-related amplified polymorphism(SRAP). Using 15 SRAP primer combinations, 170 loci were identified, out of which 136 were polymorphic. The proportion of polymorphic loci(PPL) was 80.00%, Effective umber of alleles(Ne) is 1.4270, Nei’s gene diversity(H) is 0.2512, Shannon’s Information index(I) is 0.3797, showing a rich genetic diversity of Deutzia glabrata in Shandong; The variety and original seed were clearly classified into 2groups, supplying molecular basis for existence of the variety; Results between original seed make it clear that differences between altitude and habitat may lead to genetic differentiation of the natural population; Relation between different samples can be revealed more visually on different levels and from different directions by principal coordinate analysis.2. 192 loci of 24 samples of Deutzia baroniana(Culaishan, Laoshan, Taishan, each 8 samples) were identified with SRAP, out of which 181 were polymorphic and PPL is 94.27%; Genetic diversity of species is higher than that of community and Laoshan population accumulated the highest genetic diversity while Culaishan contained the lowest; Coefficient of genetic differentiation(Gst) was 0.3659, suggesting that variation in populations is much higher than variation occurrs among different populations; Nei’s genetic distance vary from 0.1813 to 0.2676, genetic identity vary from 0.7652 to 0.8342, indicating that the genetic distance of Deutzia baroniana population is not directly relevant with geographical location.3. Genetic diversity of 55 Deutzia Thunb.samples was studied: PPL is 99.19%; Obvious distinctive amplified loci occurs in the same species and between variety and original seed, showing differences on DNA levels between species and other species or variety; All samples were classified into 3 groups by principal coordinate analysis according to their genetic relationship, supplying molecular basis for division of 3 wild species.4. The community composition and structure of Deutzia glabrata in Laoshan was studied by methods of phytocoenology: The community is typical broadleaved deciduous forest in warm temperate zone; The layer is clear, the structure is stable, advantage of common species was obvious and natural regeneration is well; Species composition of some community is simpie, reflecting particularity of surrounding of Deutzia glabrata. The above studies indicated that Deutzia glabrata community in Shandong is with clear layer, stable structure, well natural regeneration and Deutzia Thunb. has a rich genetic diversity. Protect of Deutzia glabrata should take in situ conservation as the principal thing, combining ex-situ conservation and genetic resources center to preserve its genetic integrity to the hilt. As for Deutzia Thunb., we should pay equal attention to their protection and development, attch importance to their ornamental value, develop their medicinal and industrial value for diversified development and utilization on the basis of protect.
