In this experiment, we use Scymnus(Neopullus)babai Sasaji that is the natural enemy of Aphis gylcnies, as the experiment insect to study the reproduction under different conditions, feeding habits, developmental rate rearing on different aphids and functional reponse. The main results are as follows:1. S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji’s the reproduction from two factors of temperatures and photoperiods is studied. The results showed that the temperature on the pre-oviposition period, oviposition period, average oviposition rate per female, total oviposition rate per female of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji effect significantly. At 22 ℃, S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji didn’t lay eggs, the average value was 0. At 31 ℃, the pre-oviposition period was the shortest. When it was in 28 ℃, the oviposition period was the longest, average oviposition rate per female and total oviposition rate per female were the highest. The photoperiods weren’t significant impact on the oviposition period, the rest of the value significantly. The photoperiod(L:D) 16:8, the pre-oviposition period was the shortest, 12:12, oviposition period was the longest, 14:10, average oviposition rate per female and total oviposition rate per female were the highest. Therefore, the optimum temperature was 28 ℃, the most appropriate photoperiod was 14:10.2. The adult and 1st-4th instar larvae of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji respectively fed on the 10 species of aphids which were collected from fruit trees and crops. The observation showed that S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji could prey on all aphids for test. Due to different kinds of aphids, their biomass exist difference. Therefore, the food preference of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji was identified by the biomass of the daily predation. Fedding the S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji on Myzus persicae, Aphis gossypii, A. glycines had significant influence on the development rate. The developmental durations of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji fed on M. persicae was shorter, fed on soybean aphid was slightly longer. The weight of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji fed on A. gossypii was heaviest, fed on M. persicae and A. glycines were equal.3. When the aphid density didn’t change and the photoperiods increased, the day maximum predation of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji correspondingly increase. The feeding speed of the 4th instar larvae was the fastest, adult feeding speed was the slowest. Established mathematical model of different densities of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji prey on A. glycines:4524.01665.0-*= PE, established mathematical model of different density S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji fed on different densities of A. glycines: 1193.17622.0-*= PE, the two models were good agreement with experimental datas. The optimum cold storage conditions of the adult of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji were 10 ℃, when they were in cold storage for 10 d, the survival rate was 80 %. The day maximum predation of adult that were taken out from cold storage was the biggest in 10 ℃. Cold storage had significant influence on the reproductive development of S.(Neopullus)babai Sasaji, oviposition period was 70.71 d, average oviposition rate per female was 0.95 eggs/day, total oviposition rate per female was 66.71 eggs.
