By spraying the exogenous polyamine and the polyamine biosynthesis inhibitor on the test material-the chrysanthemum (Dendranthema morifolium), researching the relationship between the polyamines with hormones, flower bud differentiation and the lateral bud.By spraying the exogenous polyamine spermidine (Spd) and the polyamine biosynthesis inhibitor D-argimine (D-Arg) under the short day condition of Day 10 h/Night 14 h for floral induction, the dynamic change of endogenous polyamines and IAA, ZR, iPA, GA and the relationship between polyamines and hormones were studied. The results showed that, the effect of exogenous polyamines and polyamine inhibitors could significantly affect the contents of endogenous polyamines and IAA, ZR, iPA, GA, high concentration of endogenous polyamines in favor of the start and maintain of flower bud differentiation of ’Jinba’. The effects of Spd and D-Arg might control the flower bud differentiation through the way of affecting the hormones by affecting the endogenous polyamines or through the way of affecting the hormones and endogenous polyamines directly. The relationship between IAA with the endogenous Put was very close, low Put concentration promoted and high Put concentration inhibited the accumulation of IAA. The changing trend of ZR, iPA, polyamines was consistent with polyamines. The Spd and D-Arg may affect the GA mostly in the stage of inflorescence differentiation and the stage of floret differentiation and the high concentration of Spd and Put were not conducive to the accumulation of GA.By spraying the exogenous polyamine putrescine (Put) and the polyamine biosynthesis inhibitor D-argimine(D-Arg) and moving the apical bud, the dynamic change of IAA, ZR, iPA and the average length of lateral bud were studied. The results showed that, the effects of exogenous polyamines and polyamine inhibitors could significantly affect the contents of IAA, ZR, iPA and the development of lateral bud. Exogenous Put promote the development of the axillary buds of chrysanthemum and change the plant type via inhibit the polar transport of IAA and promote the supply of the cytokinin (iPA and ZR) and IAA in the bud, the upper part of the bud germination and growth was slow, the lower part of the bud germination fast growth of the plants after exogenous polyamines processing. Polyamine svnthesis inhibitors (D-Arg) could inhibit the growth of the axillarv buds and keep apical dominance via promote the polar transport of IAA and inhibit the supply of the cytokinin (iPA and ZR) to the bud, the upper part of the bud germination of fast growth, in the lower part of the bud germination and growth is slow of the plants after polyamine synthesis inhibitors.
