Fujian Jiangle state-owned forestry mainly operate in timber, the other functions of forest have not been fully exploited. With the improvement of people’s quality of life, people’s spiritual needs have changed, especially after the reform of forestry, forest farmers pay more attention to the comprehensive benefits. How to exert recreational functions of forestry is becoming the focus. Therefore, the management of rational forest that make it fully exerting the recreational function become an urgent problem.In this study, the forest of Jiangle state-owned forestry in Fujian were the object. The forest plots inventory data and sub-compartment survey data were used in this paper. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to establish evaluation model, then completed the forest recreation suitability assessment and got the forest recreation map in different appropriate grade. Spatial structure (including aggregation index, mingling, neighborhood comparison, competition index and open degree) of typical forest stand was analyzed by using the method of Voronoi diagram and the Delaunay triangulation to establish the spatial structure unit. Harvesting and replanting optimized models were established to simulate and analysis Chinese fir recreational forest on the stand scale. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Constructed a forest recreation suitability evaluation index system, the indexs weight order were stand volume, average height of stand, canopy density, humus thickness, the proportion of mixed, the proportion of coniferous and deciduous tree, natural forest ratio, soil thickness, stand age, coverage of bush, bush height, slope, average diameter, slope aspect. There were 85 excellent classes (6.8%),58 good classes(6.0%),49 medium classes(4.7%),59 poor classes (4.2%) and 861 inferior classes(78.3%) according to the suitability assessment results of the state-owned forest in Jiangle.(2) The nearest trees of the subject tree were 6 in Chinese fir Recreational Forest. The individuals of tree displayed a uniform distribution pattern. The degree of segregation among tree species was not high and in the medium mixed state. The differentiation of DBH and height was not significant, which indicated a middle level of competition. The average open degree of stand was low. Thus, there is insufficient space for the trees’ growing. Among superiority species, the competitiveness of Chinese fir was strong. The spatial structure indicators calculated in traditional methods and based on Voronoi diagram method were both valid, mingling, neighborhood comparison based on DBH, competition index and open competition index had a high degree of consistency.(3) The composite spatial structure index ranges between 0.01-1.03. The sorting of each spatial structure index factor which was associated were aggregation index (0.76), competition index (0.76), open-degree (0.76), mingling (0.71), neighborhood comparison (0.68) according to the associated degree and priority. The harvesting model and replanting model which were established in this paper can play a role effectively in the management of Chinese fir recreation forest, making the spatial structure has been optimized.
