Hei Daigou open coal mine dump was used as the research object In the hilly area of the Loess Plateau, combined field investigation and laboratory analysis, comparative analyzed the changes of soil physical, chemical and biological properties of different vegetation types in different construction time,calculated their relationship index, a comprehensive evaluation of complex soil properties for mine reclamation, row dump of land reclamation and soil fertility and provide scientific basis and technical support. The main research results were as follow:(1)Compared with the original soil landscape, soil water content and aggregate content of reclaimed soil increased, and soil bulk density decreased. Dominant woody vegetation construction was conducive to improvement of physical properties of reclaimed soil, the aggregate content, water content and other physical properties were the best under the reclamation of Populus-Hippophae rhamnoides Linn.(2)Compared with the original soil landscape, reclaimed soil organic matter, available nitrogen, available phosphorus content increased, soil pH value decreased but still remain above 8, reclamation could effectively improve soil chemical properties. Mixed way of Populus-Hippophae rhamnoides Linn for reclamation showed more conducive to the improvement of soil chemical properties.(3)The reclaimed soil invertase and urease activity increased significantly, soil enzyme activity of Populus-Hippophae rhamnoides Linn mixed mode increased by 40%, urease activity increased by 79%.(4)Restoration index of soil under different types of vegetation decreased with soil depth, increased with the increase of reclamation time.
