Eggplant comes from India,it is introduced into East Asia in 4-5 century. China is the largest national planting eggplant in the world. The area of plant more than 50% accounts for the world. Eggplant parthenocarpic varieties can overcome poor pollination and fertilization of the flower and fruit drop caused by obstacles in facility, improve fruit set rate, significantly increase crop yield, reduce the production cost. This dissertation draw on the physidogical characteristics and heredity rule of parthenocarpy eggplant,in ordor to provide the theoritical basis for the breeding of parthenocarpy eggplant.This papper draw on the parthenocarpic line D-7-1 and non-parthenocarpic line 142 were examined at different stages of ovary (fruit). The main results were summed as follows:1. Research on the relationship between Carbon and nitrogen of accumulation, related oxidase and Parthenocarpy.1.1 In the fruit’s growth, it is different between parthenocarpy and non-parthenocarpy eggplant on the contents of Soluble protein and soluble sugar. And the contents of these in parthenocarpy eggplant are more than that in non-parthenocarpy eggplant. It shows that parthenocarpy eggplant has accumulated more nutritive substance than non-parthenocarpy eggplant on the period of ovary.1.2 In the fruit’s growth, the activity of SOD and POD in parthenocarpy eggplant are less than that in non-parthenocarpy eggplant. It is means that Parthenocarpy ovary develop fruit has a realationship with SDO and POD.1.3 In the fruit’s growth,the activity of CAT in parthenocarpy eggplant are less than that in non-parthenocarpy eggplant.The activity of CAT enzyme increased firstly then decreased and increased last. It is means that CAT enzyme is not realitive with eggplant fruit development, it is more important role in the aging process is to remove the ovary produce H2O2.2. Research on the relationship between polyamines (Spd, Spm, Put) and Parthenocarpy.In the fruit’s growth ,Polyamines levels were higher at early stage of fruit development. The levels of polyamines,putrescine and spermidine increased firstly and then decreased. Spermine contents tended to decrease progressively. The relationship between parthenocarpy from great to small are putrescine (put), spermidine (SPD), spermidine (SPM).3. Research on the Cloning and analysis of SAMs and SAMDC3.1 According to the conserved sequences genes,homologous primers were designed to amplify SAMs gene The gene fragment were 1267bp, its open reading frame contained 1182bp, its estimated encoding 393 amino acid residues.SAMs residues, its molecular was about 97.80kD, and the isoelectric point was about 5.03. The relationship between SISAMs was the closest, the farthest was among RcSAMs and MnSAMs. SmSAMs was NMC type protein, possible phosphorylation sites was 12, hydrophobic region was distributed Uniform. SmSAMs did not contain a signal peptide, did not belong to extracellular secreted proteins or membrane protein.According to the conserved sequences genes,homologous prim ers were designed to amplify SAMDC gene The gene fragment were 1335bp, its open reading frame contained 1083bp, its estimated encoding 360 amino acid residues.SAMDC residues, its molecular was about 90.30kD, and the isoelectric point was about 5.07. The relationship between SISAMs and StSAMDC was the closest, the farthest was among VfSAMDC and MtSAMDC. SmSAMDC was NMC type protein, possible phosphorylation sites was 12, hydrophobic region was distributed Uniform. SmSAMDC did not contain a signal peptide, did not belong to extracellular secreted proteins or membrane protein.4. Research on the SAMs and SAMDC expression analysisThe study through the technology of PCR kown the expression of SAMs and SAMDC in eggplant different strains and different fruit stage,and The expression of SAMs and SAMDC increased at first and then decreased during fruit development in eggplant, It was found that the expression of SAMs and SAMDC in parthenocarpy was higher than non parthenocarpy and The expression of SAMs and SAMDC gene was higher than non parthenocarpy, it is same witn polyamines.It is means that SAMs and SAMDC are related with the fruit development in eggplant.
