Xingkaihu alburnus is a special species of Culter albumus, they are commonly called Xingkaihu white fish and live in the Xingkai Lake in Heilongjiang provience. The unique geographical location and environment quality of Xingkai Lake isolate the Xingkaihu alburnus to differ from others in physiological characters and form a separate species. Its white meat tastes delicate and delicious, which earns itself a seat in the fish top grade. Besides delicious, there is a high nutritional value and medicinal value in Xingkaihu alburnus leading it to be well favoured by the customers. There is great demand for Culter alburnus currently in the market and the price won`t go down. The increasing need can`t be meet due to the deficient large bodies of water, so fish farming in Xingkai Lake stands out to be a great option.In recent years, with the advancing of artificial propagation technology, production of Xingkaihu alburnus has been increased which alleviates the market demand to some extent. Meanwhile, more people joining the fish farming business leads to tight supply of fish seed, along with the competition between fish farmers bring this business to a higher level and show promising industry future. Presently, there are still some wild alburnus resources, due to the advantages of farming alburnus in all aspects of the current restructuring of the fishing industry, significant product competitiveness can be seen.Drug test study of Xingkaihu alburnus has rarely been reported. In this condition, we conducted a series of research about acute toxicity and safety test of five kinds of drugs on juvenile Xingkaihu alburnus. The aims are to help with the fish farming of Xingkaihu alburnus in artificial breeding and intensive farming and to provide technical references and support in efficient fish farming of Xingkaihu alburnus.The thesis mainly covers two aspects of research on Xingkaihu alburnus, firstly, we conducted the acute toxicity test of five kinds of drugs on juvenile Xingkaihu alburnus; secondly, we studied different sizes and different raising modes in intensive aquaculture of Xingkaihu alburnus. The results of our research are showed as followed:(1) Xingkaihu alburnus lives in the middle and upper level of water, it acts fast and can be easily frightened. Through domestication, mature Xingkaihu alburnus parents product the first generation of artificial propagation, the original wild nature of the them was greatly reduced. After the domestication of adult fish, they can stay alive in aquariums of restaurants or be brought homeby ordinary people.Through the artificial breeding of topmouth culter in Xingkai Lake fish, in the stage of the most growth phase, can be fed an artificial diet and artificial diet.(2) In hydrostatic conditions with p H of 7.1~7.9, dissolved oxygen of 5mg/L or more, water temperature of 22~24 ℃, we conducted acute Toxicity test on Xingkaihu alburnus juveniles with five kinds of drugs as Chelunjing, composite H polyiodides, Texiaoshachongling, chlorine dioxide, Zhenggongfu. The test results show, TLm24, TLm48 and SC in each drug were: Chelunjing 0.0096mg/L, 0.0057mg/L, 0.108mg/L; Composite H polyiodides 46.66mg/L, 39.99mg/L, 8.818mg/L; Texiaoshachongling 0.566mg/L, 0.528mg/L, 0.138mg/L; chlorine dioxide 4.843mg/L, 4.196mg/L, 0.945mg/L; Zhenggongfu 0.027mg/L, 0.018mg/L, 0.0027mg/L. On the basis of the 48 h TLm of above drugs on Xingkaihu alburnus juveniles, it shows that the order of toxicity as: Chelunjing> Zhenggongfu> Texiaoshachongling> chlorine dioxide> Composite H polyiodides; the SC size order of each drug on Xingkaihu alburnus juveniles were as follows: Chelunjing <Zhenggongfu <Texiaoshachongling<chlorine dioxide <composite H polyiodides, we also studied and discussed the drug-related issues in using the drugs. Although Xingkaihu alburnus owns high drug resistance, we still need to be cautious while using drugs on them.(3) Xingkaihu alburnus has strong disease resistance, is individual large and grows faster, they own strong resistance to oxygen capacity, and can be farmed in high density. To maximize the profit, Xingkaihu alburnus shoule be feed with artificial feed and scientific farming techniques should be used in the breeding process, also, we could raise a certain proportion of silver carp and bighead carp together to make full use of bait and pond water space.
