In recent years, with in-depth study of chicken viral infectious disease and effective vaccine is widely used, chicken viral disease incidence has decreased, but bacterial disease especially colibacillosis is increasingly serious, cause huge economic losses to aquaculture. E. coli acquire drug resistance easily and non-standard clinical medicine further intensify the development of drug resistance. Many data show that as time goes by, more and more drug resistant strains of e. coli appear and drug-resistant spectrum becomes more and more widely, even some strain have showed a strong resistance to new antibiotics been not widely used in veterinary clinical. For the situation, the study of prevalence of chicken Escherichia coli disease and the drug resistance state of pathogenic e. coli in Taian and surrounding areas has been carried on the systematic investigation and analysis. April 2013 to October we collected suspected colon bacillus disease, dead chicken liver, heart and sample of 63 and divide it into three groups according to the different period. In the test, many identification experiments such as biochemistry test, pathogenicity test and so on were done and at last the 63 cases of bacterial strain were all appraised as avian pathogenic Escherichia coli. The strains isolatesd were also examined for their susceptibility to 12 antimicrobial agents. The antimicrobial susceptibility test was completed according to the standard procedure advised by NCCLS. At the same time we has researched on detection of TEM which is the beta lactam drug resistant gene. The results showed that 88 plants all represent different degree of resistance which has wider range and changing with time. But most of the strains of the region are highly sensitive to amikacin and ciprofloxacin and said to the most sensitive fosfomycin sodium and cephalosporins of e. coli strains had widespread resistance now. In the drug sensitive test these strains insensitive to cephalosporin drugs contain beta lactamase resistant gene. Compared to beta lactamase resistant gene of Genebank their sequence homology are more than 97% and there is only individual base mutations. Through research to find out the prevalence of chicken Escherichia coli disease and the present situation of bacterial drug resistance, even to provide reliable theoretical basis for controlling the chicken Escherichia coli disease epidemics effectively. Eventually working out more scientific and reasonable prevention and treatment measures to improve the breeding benefit.
