Prediction and management of forest pests and diseases play a vital role in the managed forest’s healthy development. Solutions of demands of prediction and forecasting of plant diseases and insect pests can also be obtained by keeping pace with the time, along with the technology of internet of things and high precision sensor gradually becomes mature this recent years. This paper launches a design research on pests prevention and control physics system of managed forest based on ZigBee in order to realize the demand of automation prediction, forecasting and control. This article will explore the design of pests prevention and control physics system of managed forest based on the Internet of Things. It will try to network via ZigBee wireless sensor network technology. The article will also explore the design idea of this system monitored by human-computer with Lab VIEW software technology. The characteristic of low power consumption makes it feasible for it to be used in the woodland. Adopting the train of thought of using physical control but not drugs to design the module of removing insect pests makes up for the defect that the previous monitoring system has the system only monitors but doesn’t perform, with the defect governance disease reaction ability being poor. In this way, people can control the disease in the distance and massively. This article also completed the test and analysis of system mentioned above. This paper explains in detail the realization of the hardware and software part, and builds a ZigBee network system. After testing, the transmission efficiency of the system is stable and it can realize collection of the environment index and control of the sensor node event in the distance. It can also clear the pests timely using ozone generator with low node power consumption and the cost is so acceptable that a large area of woodland can use this system.
