With as pinus tabulaeformis the experimental material,using comparison experiment design and rarianceanalysis, multiple comparisons and principal component analysis methods,studied on effect of different particle size on growth,biomass and major physiological parameter of pinus tabulaeformis container seedings, and initial and final the seedling planting and different particle size on the distribution of matrix physical propertiesand chemical properties over time.The results are as follows:(1)The sacked substrate which particle size D≥2mm-5mm:D≥0.5mm-2mm:D<0.5mm are 1:3:1 is the mixed matrix as the most appropriate cultivation matrix,the second is that the sacked substrate which particle size D≥2mm-5mm:D≥0.5mm-2mm:D<0.5mm are 1:2:1; the sacked substrate which particle size D≥2mm-5mm:D≥0.5mm-2mm:D<0.5mm are 2:2:3; the sacked substrate which particle size D≥2mm-5mm:D≥0.5mm-2mm:D<0.5mm are 1:1:1; compared with, the sacked substrate which particle size D≥2mm-5mm:D≥0.5mm-2mm:D<0.5mm are 1:1:1 is the worst.(2)The growth of seeding were significantly superior to the growth of rural soil five kinds of the substrate are suitable as nursery the substrate.(3)Initial,pore characteristics and particle size of different sacked substrate shows correlation matrix.When the content of large particle size(2mm5mm) are more,water filled porosity are large,air filled porosity and ratio of water filled porosity to air filled porosity are small.Total porosity are no change as the particle size distribution regularity.With the decrease of large particle size(2mm5mm),the bulk density is increasing gradually.The chemical property of the sacked substrate is not affected by particle size of matrix,showed no regularity.(4)Final,total porosity did not change basically.Bulk density are increased,air filled are in small increments,air filled porosity and ratio of water filled porosity to air filled porosity are recreased.Besides p H,the chemical properties of sacked substrate change largely, conductivity and total nitrogen are increased, cation exchange capacity are recreased.(5)Initial and final cultivation,physical and chemical properties of sacked substrate are within the ideal range of the substrate.
