Mountain Resort is a garden of old trees,trees with their long history and majestic grace form know.Existing Chinese pine is a rare heritage of Mountain Resort,is living heritage and living fossil,protection of ancient Chinese pine in the Mountain Resort is the responsibility given by the history.However,due to historical changes,climate change and other reasons,Mountain Resort’s plants especially Chinese pine is suffering an unprecedented crisis: many ancient Chinese pine growth is extremely weak and facing the death threats,so protect the ancient Chinese pine is the long-term and arduous task of Mountain Resort.Soil is an important element of the environment,it’s crucial importance for the forest’s site conditions and material storage,the merits of nutrients and soil physical and chemical properties are decisive factors for the tree’s growth good or bad.In this study,the ancient Chinese pine in the Mountain Resort were selected as the examples,by determination of investigating various locating conditions of weak ancient Chinese pine of different layers of soil nutrient status and physical and chemical properties,and the paper made the correlation analysis,results were as follows:(1)In the three planting areas,the soil moisture,soil bulk density gradually decreased from top to bottom,soil total porosity from top to bottom gradually increased.In the three planting areas,the average of the soil moisture within each soil layer changed slightly,only below the 40 cm soil layer in a state of relative water scarcity.By comparison analysis shows,soil moisture has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the three planting areas.In the three planting areas,the average of the soil bulk density within each soil layer changed slightly,were all between 1.3g/cm3 to 1.45g/cm3,and the soil total porosity has little change,were all less than 50%,its soils are relatively tight in the state.By comparison analysis shows,soil bulk density and total porosity have some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the plain area and palace area,have nothing effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the mountain area.(2)In the three planting areas,the soil water-soluble salt content gradually decreased from top to bottom,soil p H from top to bottom gradually increased.In the three planting areas,the average of the soil water-soluble salt content within each soil layer has significant changes,and its all above 3g/kg,the soil water-soluble salt content of the palace area and mountain area were all above 5g/kg,especially the soil water-soluble salt content of the palace area were actually reach up to 11.88g/kg,its soil water-soluble salt content were more higher and it’s not conductive to the growth of the ancient Chinese pine.By comparison analysis shows,soil water-soluble salt content has nothing effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the plain area,has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the palace area and mountain area.In the three planting areas,the average of the soil p H within each soil layer has significant changes,the soil p H of the mountain area were more smaller,and it were all slightly acidic soil,but the soil p H of the plain area and palace area were approaching 7.5,the soil rendered neutral,and the soil p H of weak ancient Chinese pine were mostly above 7.7,rendered slightly alkaline,has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth.By comparison analysis shows,soil p H has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the plain area and palace area,has nothing effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the mountain area.(3)In the three planting areas,the soil organic matter,total nitrogen,hydrolysis of nitrogen,total phosphorus and available phosphorus gradually decreased from top to bottom,the soil total potassium and available potassium from top to bottom gradually increased.By comparison analysis shows,soil organic matter has nothing effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the three planting area;the soil hydrolysis of nitrogen has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the three planting area;and the total nitrogen has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the plain area,has nothing effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the palace area and mountain area;the soil total phosphorus has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the plain area and mountain area,has nothing effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the palace area;the soil available phosphorus has some effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the three planting area;the soil total potassium and available potassium has nothing effect on the ancient Chinese pine growth in the three planting area.
