Sunflower is one of the four major economic crops in northern China,rational application of fertilizer is important to improve the yield and quality of sunflower.In this experimem the edible sunflower hybrid X3939 as experimental materials. Plot experiment was set according to two different experiment plan:Nitrogen phosphorus and potassium deficiency(the first experiment) and NPK compound fertilizer combined with trace elements fertilizer of zinc,boron,manganese and iron(the second experiment) to study effect of N,P,K and the microelement fertilizers on plant growth,photosynthetic performance.yield and kernel quality of edible sunflower X3939 in Bayannaoer.The result show that:1.In the first experiment,leaf area index in different sunflower growth period,the net photosynthetic rate in budding period.the total photosynthetic potential in the whole growth period showed:NPK>NK>NP>PK>CK,the max LAD was NPK(N:105kg/hm2, P2O5:90kg/hm2,K2O:105kg/hm2) and reached 4.93,the net photosynthetic rate was 47.7μmol·m·2s-1 and the total photosynthetic potential was 14136.32 m2·d. Compared with CK,the above parameters increased 22.94%,15.91% and 14.36%respectively.ln the second experiment,leaf area index in different sunflower growth period,the net photosynthetic rate in budding period.the total photosynthetic potential in the whole growth period showed:B(4.5kg/hm2)>OPT>Zn(4.2kg/hm2)>Fe(3.9 kg/hm2)>Mn(3kg/ hm2)>CK, the max LAD was B treatment and reached 5.73,the net photosynthetic rate was 52.36μmol·m-2·s-1 and the total photosynthetic potential was 1339800.65 m2·d. Compared with CK,the above parameters increased 14.14%,32.42% and 13.47% respectively.2.In the first experiment, CK has the highest empty-shell ratio,the lowest seed kernel rate and single disk seed weight, the highest thousand kernel weight and tray grain weight. For the above parameters,NPK treatment was the best performing.Compared with CK (with non fertilizer),the empty-shell ratio single disk seed weight reduced 58.47%,and the seed kernel rate increased 12.20%,and the thousand kernel weight,tray grain weight and single disk seed weight increased 40.03g,46.18g and 236 respectively.In the second experiment,CK(with non microelement fertilizer)had the highest empty-shell ratio,the lowest seed kernel rate and single disk seed weight,the highest thousand kernel weight and tray grain weight. For the above parameters,B treatment was the best performing. Compared with CK, the empty-shell ratio single disk seed weight reduced 43.63%, and the seed kernel rate increased by 9.46%,and the thousand kernel weight, tray grain weight and single disk seed weight increased 7.7g,8.15g and 97 grains respectively.3.In the first experiment, the lowest grain yield was CK,the highest was NPK. Compared with CK,grain yield NPK treatment increased 32.74%.In the second experiment,the lowest grain yield CK(with non microelement fertilizer),the highest was B treatment. Compared with CK,grain yield increased 22.65%.
