The sugar beet is one of the main raw material of our country processing of white sugar,and play an important role in the development of China’s sugar industry to meet the growing demand for sugar. In recent years, the advantage region of sugar beet production in China is being extended to salt, drought and cold area, thus improving the resistance of sugar beet is an important guarantee for sustainable development of sugar beet production. Many studies have shown that overexpression of AVP1 gene can. enhance the salt tolerance and drought resistance of plant, in the meantime, alse;an improve the absorption and use efficiency of phosphorus.This experiment in our task group the basis of the existing research of group, has been on molecular letection about expression of exogenous gene in AVP1 transgenic beet, analyze the physiological performance of AVP1 transgenic beet under the low-phosphorus, drought, salt conditions,and get the new materials of transgenic beet for tolerant, which provides a new way to improve the resistance of beet. The main results are as follows:1 In the subculture of transgenic sugar beet was detected by PCR to determine the stability of target gene.The expression of AVP1 gene was detected by real-time quantitative PCR, and the result shows that the gene expression in roots and leaves,and the expression of stress is enhanced.2 The pot experiments of AVP1 transgenic beet and wild beet are carried out, in the control of phosphorus supply conditions, the phosphorus content,SPAD valueof transgenic beet are significantly higher than those of the wild type. Initially proved that AVP1 transgenic beet can improve the absorption and use efficiency of phosphorus.3 Under drought stress, salt stress treatment, the AVO Itransgenic beet compare the wild type in morphology,MDA content,free proline content,etc..The results show that, the adaptability of AVP1 transgenic beet is better than that of wild type to salt stress, drought stress.Preliminary prove that AVP1 transgenic beet has good drought resistance and salt tolerance.
