The experiment was studied on the drought-relief and water conservation experimental base in Wangtuan, Tongxin County by incorporated with different organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer in a long-term field located experiment(no fertilizer, chemical fertilizer, chemical fertilizer with manure and chemical fertilizer with fulvic) to determine, how to effect the potato growth, nutrient accumulation, potato production and the physical, chemical, biological characteristics of the soil. The result would supply a theoretical basis and technical support for soil quilt increasing, quickly and the sustainable development of soil fertility in the arid and semi-arid region. The main results are showed as follows:(1)The soil fertility were increased in the treatments. The treatment of chemical fertilizer with bio-organic fertilizer improved the content of soil total nitrogen and total phosphorus, and the treatment of chemical fertility with sheep manure can improve the organic matter and available soil nutriention, decrease pH and increase the CEC, which are the benefit to the soil quality and potato plant’s growth.(2)The treatment of chemical fertility with sheep manure can improve the soil microbial biomass carbon and the enzyme activity obviously. the proportion of soil fungi were obviously decreased,but the bacteria increased, the soil microorganism’s structure significantly influenced.(3) The treatment of using Fulvic with chemical fertilizer can significantly improve the microbial metabolic activity (AWCD), the ability of soil microbial carbon utilization were enhanced, the ability of carbon utilization for microbial communities, which was mainly use the amino acids and aromatic compounds as carbon source, were increased.(4) In the whole growth period, the treatment of fulvic with chemical fertilizer, sheep manure with chemical fertilizer could improve potato’ height, stem diameter, biomass, and leaf area index significantly;the treatment of chemical fertilizer with manure or the treatment of chemical fertilizers alone, was helpful to improve plant’s productive potential, the photosynthetic efficiency increased, and the chemical fertilizer with manure was the best choice for increasing the nutriention accumulation in potato plants.(5) Chemical Fertilizer incorporated with manure can increase the content of the potato starch and the reducing sugar, and when Chemical Fertilizer is used with sheep manure, together, it had a greatly influence on the potatoes’ yield, followed with the treatment of chemical fertilizer separately, and the third is the treatment of chemical fertilizer with cow manure.
