Inner Mongolia was a large farming region of dairy cattle, and Hohhot hailed dairy center of China. Dairy plays an essential role in animal husbandry. Infertility was the most direct and major influencing factor in dairy farm, high culled rate and influence farm economy. Infertility highly associated with the postpartum diseases. Postpartum period were the transition time for lactation, reproduction, feeding and management, especially parturition and postpartum were the most critical production period, which highly related with safety through this transition period. This thesis is composed by:①Survey of infertility diseases in 6 commercial dairy farms located in Bayannur and Hohhot;② Antioxidative status and some cytokines level survey of postpartum metritis and clinical endometritis cows;③ Effects of the traditional Chinese herbal compound on performance, antioxidative status and some cytokines concentration of postpartum cows.Result shows that: ① Infertility incidence around Bayannur was 20.29%, and Hohhot was 19.80%; postpartum period was susceptible to reproductive diseases and has highly morbidity, and can prolong opening days. Dairy cattle were culled with reproductive disorders (except habitual abortion), always had exceeded 150 open days. No significant difference between open days exist in all kinds of disorder, but average services time and parities has a lot of significant differences.② Metritis cow had significantly higher T-AOC and GSH-Px concentration than control group at 7th day in milk, and had significantly higher CAT at 3th day in milk, SOD had no significantly difference, metritis showed no remarkable change of MAD with time, control group had significantly decrease of MDA; no significantly difference exist in IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α, TGF-βand Hp between metritis and control group. No significantly difference in T-AOC, SOD, GSH-Px, CAT, MDA, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-10 between clinical endometritis after normal delivery and control group; clinical endometritis had significantly higher concentration of Hp, TGF-β and TNF-α than control group. ③ High, middle and low dosage of herbal compound group had significantly lower Hp concentration at 14 day in milk, and had decreases of Hp concentration with increasing of dosage; and the results showed that middle dose was suit for examination. Supplementing with herbal compound can effect antioxidative status, significantly increase GSH-Px, CAT and T-AOC; IL-1β and IL-6 is increasing along the time after parturition in supplement group, no significantly difference in control; no significant difference exist in TNF-a and TGF-β between them, and no significant difference exist in each group. Herbal compound showed no significantly analgesia effect; significantly decrease metritis incidence; had a positive effect on minimizing open days.Conclusions:① Currently, higher incidence of infertility related diseases was exist. Parturition and postpartum health care, health condition monitor had a positive effect on decreasing of infertility. ② Antioxidative capacity increased after metritis; MDA was stable in metritis group and decreased in control group; in both of them do not have significantly change in cytokinesis. No significantly changes exist in antioxidative capacity in clinical endometritis, Hp, TGF-β and TNF-α significantly higher than health.③ Herbal compound do not have adverse reactions; the modulating effect of the herbal compound on antioxidative compounds and cytokinesis benefits uterine innate immunity were increased and showed uterine involution; combination therapy with analgesic can reduce the pain and postpartum recovery.
