| Thrips is the common name of Thysanoptera insects.As there are many species of plants in Guangxi and the studies on phytophagous Thrips were very little,this paper have investigated the species of Thrips for most of the plant in Naning,Guangxi,first understanding its species development and damage degree,provide the experimental basis for deeply study on control of Thrips.Meanwhile,in recent years,the harm of Thrips palmi Karny to Nanning area is serious day by day,the previous studies on control measures of Thrips palmi Karny is relatively weak and mainly use the chemical pesticides, as its oviposition in mesophyll tissue and pupate in soil,it is difficult to control the hazards.This paper takes cucumbers field which in Guangxi university farm as testing field and studies the control measures of Thrips palmi Karny for cucumbers,the results are as follows:1.Collected Thrips from most of plants in Nanning,made permanent slides and indoor identification,the result shows that:there are 36 species thrips in Nanning,respectively belong to 2 suborder,2 families,13genera,36 species.Among them,there is a new species.Meanwhile,the region have not found the Frankliniella occidentalis which had invaded before.The key to species on melons is given for identifying them efficaciously.2. Through the investigation of Thrips in Nanning Qingxiu District,Xixiangtang District,Xingning District,Shanglin County,Mashan County,found that main types are Thrips palmi Karny,Thrips hawaiiensi Morgan,Frankliniella intonsa Trybom,Haplothrips chinensis Priesner,Haplothrips gowdeyi Franklin. Thrips palmi Karny have the widest host range,the largest quantity and lead to the most serious harm.3.This study surveys the annual population dynamics of thrips on gourd vegetable, the main thrips on gourd vegetable are:Thrips hawaiiensi Morgan, Frankliniella intonsa Trybom, Thrips palmi Karny, these three kinds of thrips accounted for 96.01% of the total number of thrips. Among them Thrips palmi Karny living mainly in the gourd vegetable leaves on young and tender parts, serious harm to crops.4.Yellow, blue, orange, white, red, green, purple, black and pink 9 different color plates are comparied to trap the pests. The results showed that the blue plate has the best traping effect. It was significant difference against other eight kinds of color plates,which was followed by the white plate. When the plants grows up to 200cm, the blue plate hanged up at 110cm acquired the largest luring number. Position of the plates has no significent effect on their luring number. After the blue plates were hanged up for one day, two days and three days, we got the control effect of 15.93%、25.69%、33.88% on the pests.5.The controlling effect of 3 kinds of pesticide on Thrips palmi in the field was also be Compared. The results showed that, the effect of ethyl pleocidin was the best, seventh days later, controlling effect were up to 95.48%～99.02%. which was followed by acetamiprid with the controlling effect 81.53%～89.00%; The effect of Dimension·chlorantraniliprole benzoyl was the lowest.6.The results also showed that some plant extracts extracted from4 plants (Melia toosendan, Senecio scandens, Caulis spatholobi, Stemona japonica (Bl.)) had controlling effect. The best one was Melia toosendan extract.The controlling effect was up to 63.85% at the seventh day,which was followed by Senecio scandens extract with the controlling effect of 61.30% at the third day, the seventh day decreased to 51.05%; Caulis spatholobi extract had the worst effect. Stemona japonica (Bl.) extract had the negative control effect. |
