In this paper, the middle canopy healthy mature of Phyllostachys edulis leaves in Anji was selectedas test material. The ecological properties of photosynthesis about Phyllostachys edulis were studiedwith portable photosynthesis analyzer system(Li-6400)produced form March2012to January of thefollowing year, while the light response curve was determined, and also estimated the fixing carbon andreleasing oxygen ability and transpiration release of water and endothermic quantity of per unit leaf areaof the Phyllostachys edulis. It provided scientific basis of high efficient cultivation, scientificmanagement and ecological for the Phyllostachys edulis. The results showed that:(1) Diurnal variation of Pn of Phyllostachys edulis present single and double curve in differentseasons. When it presents double curve in spring, summer and autumn, the“noon rest”of Pn occurred at11:00-12:00. The stomatal factor resulted in the“noon rest”in summer, and the non-stomatal factorresulted in the “noon rest” in spring and autumn. the order of average of Pn wassummer>autumn>spring>winter. The major factors affecting Phyllostachys edulis leaves of Pn is PAR、Gs and Ci in different seasons.(2) Transpiration and photosynthesis of Phyllostachys edulis leaves are almost alike tendency. Thediurnal variation of Tr presents lower at morning and evening, and higher at midday.The major factorsaffecting Phyllostachys edulis leaves of Tr is PAR、Gs、Tl and Ta.The changes of WUE and LUE haveirregular variation trends, winter is the best possible environment for Phyllostachys edulis leaves toadjusts to drought stress and water conservation.(3) The size of the order of LSP of Phyllostachys edulis leaves was spring((267μmol·m-2·s-1))>summer(233μmol·m-2·s-1)>winter(94.1μmol·m-2·s-1)>autumn(87.6μmol·m-2·s-1).The size of the order of LCP was summer(37.7μmol·m-2·s-1)>spring(11.7μmol·m-2·s-1)>autumn(5.95μmol·m-2·s-1)>winter(5.13μmol·m-2·s-1). The change scope of season average of AQY is among0.0117-0.0589(mol·mol-1) which showed that autumn was the highest and spring was the lowest. The season average of Pnmaxchanged among3.25-8.12(μmol·m-2·s-1),and in the four seasons the season averageof Pnmaxof spring is the lowest and in autumn is the highest.(4) The season average order of the fixing carbon and releasing oxygen ability and transpiration release of water and endothermic quantity of per unit leaf area of the Phyllostachys eduliswas summer>autumn>spring>winter. The ability of carbon assimilation and oxygen realese, coo ling and humidification were the strongest in summer and were the poorest in winter.
