Intelligent agriculture is a combination of modern computer technology, communicationtechnology and sensor technology. With the help of wireless communication network, Userscan control the remote crops through the Intelligent Agricultural System platform. As anintegral part of the Intelligent Agricultural System, the Gateway Adapter can provide ways torelay the sensor data. In this paper, the design of the Second Generation Gateway Adapter is aupgrade based on the original. The project is focus on the performance optimization of thepriority transmission and concurrency, for that this paper presents a dynamic prioritytransmission scheduling model and socket communication mechanism based on IOCP. Afteroptimization of the Gateway Adapter, the system can meet the data transmission oflarge amount of concurrency, which adapted to the needs of future agricultural development. Inaddition, the Gateway Adapter System is upgraded on the function and deployed on the cloudplatform. The main research work is as follows:1. On the basis of summarizing the present research situation of domestic and foreignand the development background of the intelligent agriculture, this paper analyzed the necessityand the regarding technical of the development of a new Gateway Adapter System.2. This paper analyzed the related core technology which used to build the system. First, itelaborated the network communication technology in detail, which include the socketprogramming, windows socket, synchronous I/O and asynchronous I/O. these technologiesprovide a solid theoretical foundation for the later research of the system’s performanceoptimization. Secondly, it studied the related technology of the cloud platform, including thedefinition, characteristics, application and system architecture, which provide atheoretical guarantee on the cloud platform deployment.3. Based on the considerations at the operations, functions, performance and cloudplatform deployment of the system, the article did some request analysis and feasibility analysisin these areas. 4. This paper presented a dynamic priority transmission scheduling model, which used tosolve the problem that the real time data can not be transmitted in time. Meanwhile, In order torealize the function that the system support the data communication with massive request, thisarticle studied the socket communication mechanism based on the completion port (IOCP).Based on the above research and request analysis, this article has carried on thedetailed design, implementation and cloud platform deployment of the Second GenerationGateway Adapter System. After the test, the Second Generation Gateway Adapter System hasachieved the desired design requirements in areas such as reliability and concurrency.
