The experiment was carried in the experimental field of Xinjiang long staple cotton research center in Awati County in2013. The study used two cotton varieties with different intensity and drought resistance:CCRI No.49and Xinluzhong No.33as materials. By setting3450m3·hm-2(CK),2700m3·hm-2(W1).1950m3·hm-2(W2)3levels of water stress in the field, study boll growth and development, cotton sources-library sucrose metabolism, sucrose metabolism of key enzymes and fiber quality of the relationship and response to water stress, analyzed and discussed to explore the impact of Non-sufficient drip irrigation on the full boll development and the quality of the fiber, the main conclusions are as follows:1. The impact of the Non-sufficient drip irrigation on the growth and development of the cotton bollsNon-sufficient drip irrigation obvious influence on the "three peach" proportion of cotton with the reduction of water, the number of bolls of cotton and autumn peach declined, but the number of Pre mid-summer bolls increased in mild stress. Water stress changed the longitudinal distribution of cotton boll, mild water stress of cotton leaves central branch into the bell number increased, but the bell number severe water stress make top dropped significantly; Cotton boll dry matter accumulation and boll volume change under the condition of non-sufficient irrigation were reduced with the reducing of irrigation water, as CK>W1>W22. Non-sufficient irrigation effects on cotton sucrose contentIn non-sufficient drip irrigation, CCRI49"Source"-"Library" sucrose content expressed as:Leaf W2> CK> W1, shells W1> CK> W2, fiber W2> W1> CK, Xinluzhong No.33as follows:Leaf W1> CK> W2, shells W1> W2> CK, fiber W1> W2> CK. Therefore, water stress increase the sucrose content, but affected the sugar from the leaves to the fluid transport shell, with the increase of the degree of water stress, leaf shipments to the bell in the shell of the less sugar, fiber’s sugar conversion rate decreased. Under the condition of non sufficient irrigation, cellulose accumulation rate of mild drought quite gentle, and ultimately fiber strength is better.3. Non-sufficient irrigation effects on cotton sucrose key enzymeThe activity of sucrose synthase and sucrose phosphate synthase show unimodal curve in the process of cotton fiber development and changes. Under the non full irrigation, two varieties of sucrose synthetase activity peak performance for CK> W1> W2. In a fully under drip irrigation, cotton of sucrose phosphate synthase showed CCRI49W2> CK> W1, reflected in Xinluzhong No.33W1> W2> CK, under water stress was higher than CK. Say that water stress decreased activity of sucrose synthase in cotton fiber increased the activity of sucrose phosphate synthase.4. the effect of Non-sufficient drip irrigation on the fiber main indicatorsUnder non-sufficient irrigation, with the degree of water stress increases.the fiber dry matter weight has falling fiber length becomes shorter, fiber fineness becomes thicker. Fiber strength is central boll> upper boll> lower part of the boll. Mild water stress will increase fiber strength, severe water stress will increase fiber strength. With the degree of water stress increases, micronaire value increases.
