Yak industry is an important industry in the development of animal husbandry in Xinjiang. Becausethere is extensive management in yak breeding for a long time, which results in varying degrees of internaland external parasites in yak, increasing production costs of yak, and the decline in quantity and quality oflivestock. Moreover, some of zoonosis (such as lung hydatid disease, liver hydatid disease, liverechinococcosis fascioliasis), also seriously make a threat to human health. Therefore, this paper conductedsample survey on parasitic infections of yak in Bazhou where yak is the main areas in Xinjiang, and clinicaltrials of insecticide based on the findings, which is practical significance for healthy development of thelocal yak industry.Through laboratory diagnosis of parasitic diseases,449yak samples of livestock collected fromBazhou which is a major producing areas were tested and analyzed, including the digestive tract parasitesand pear-shaped worm inspection. The result of stool examination and microscopic observation showedthat worm infection rate was78.40%(352/449), in which nematode infection rate was67.38%(270/449), tapeworm infection rate was19.82%(89/449), trematode infection rate was4.90%(22/449),and coccidia infection rate49.89%(224/449).14kinds of worm eggs were detected from the survey, ofwhich11kinds was nematodes, such as Bunostomum nematode, Sharbot nematodes, Oesophagostomum,Trichuris nematodes, Mao nematodes Nematodirus, Cooper nematodes, long finger prick nematodes,H.contortus, Oslo Typical nematodes and Finger filamentous insects. Two kinds of Tapeworm wereMoniezia expansa and Moniezia benedeni.One kind of flukes was spear-shaped Dicrocoelium.Coccidia wasnot identified to species. The dominant species detected were Mao nematodes, Bunostomum nematode andSharbot nematodes. In addition, coccidia was also common. The survey found that there is a majority ofco-infection, for example, the co-infection rate of nematodes and tapeworms was10.92%, the co-infectionrate of nematodes and coccidia was43.7%, the co-infection rate of tapeworms and coccidia was13.45%,theco-infection rate of nematodes, tapeworms and ball was9.24%.449samples were tested by ELISAdetection, the number of Theileria positive was119, and the positive rate of that was26.50%; the positivenumber of Babesia and Babesia Bigemina was25and57, and the positive rate of them was5.57%、12.69%.For the clinical treatment of parasitic diseases in yak,according to the gastrointestinal parasiticinfections of yak in Bazhou and reference to the relevant anthelmintics trials, we select three drugs whichare more frequently used, including ivermectin, fenbendazole and doramectin, and applied them to insect repellent test in100yaks in Hejing County based on different doses(These drugs are divided into threegroups and each group will be consisted of low, medium and high dose groups).The results showed that eggreduction rate of three drugs were98.77%,98.61%and100%, negative rate were90%,90%and100%.There result of clinical trial applicating0.25mg/kg a doramectin for120yak showed that egg reductionrates and negative rate is99.8%and98.3%in10days.This survey found that samples collected random checks of Bazhou yak (N=449) were infected byparasite, and was mixed infections. Moreover, gastrointestinal nematode is with the highest infection rateand infection intensity among them; through targeted clinical trials of insecticide that if2%doramectinadministered0.2mg/kg dose of insecticide is used, we can get rid of gastrointestinal nematodes better.
