The “xiaobao” apricot,“Saimaiti” apricot is typical of Xinjiang apricot varieties, has beenlisted as key popularized varieties, large scale production. But the short storage period at roomtemperature within a few days of postharvest fruits become decreased rapidly, quality, flavor andsoft rot, caused great loss. So the study on quality and physiological effects of changes in thepostharvest fruit supply period and to prolong the shelf life, is of great significance to increasethe added value of apricot fruit. Spermine, spermidine belongs to the polyamine is a kind ofwidespread low molecular aliphatic in prokaryotes and eukaryotes with high biological nitrogenbases it exisits in fruits and vegetables to stabilize the cell membrane, delaying fruit senescence.This study takes Xinjiang green ripe stage “xiaobai” apricot, turning color period “Saimaiti”apricot as experiment material, using0,10-4mol/L,10-5mol/L,10-6mol/L four concentrationgradient of spermine, spermidine solution treatment of apricot fruit24h, to study its effect onapricot fruit postharvest quality characteristics, respiration rate, ethylene biosynthesis andmemberane lipid peroxidation. The main results were as follows:(1) The green rape stage “xiaobai” apricot treatment by different concentrations of spermine,spermidine solution then storaged at room temperature, simulation of shelf life, sampling anddetermination of related index every day. The results show that:10-4mol/L spm treatment couldreduce apricot decay rate, inhibition of PPO enzyme activity, respiratory rate and ethylenerelease rate, reduce the apricot production rate of superoxide anion and MDA content;10-4mol/Lspd treatment could slow down the speed of apricot fruit hardness, better keep the apricot Vccontent, reduce the “xiaobai” apricot ethylene release rate, inhibition of apricot SOD activity andprocetcell against oxidative damage.(2) The turning color period “Saimaiti” apricot treatment by spermine, spemidineconcentrations of solution then storaged at room temperature, sampling and determination ofrelated index every day. The results show that: The apricot fruit treatment by10-5mol/L spmslowed its hardness and soluble solids content;10-4mol/L spd treatment of apricot fruit bettermaintained its hardness and titratable acid content, while10-5mol/L spm,10-4mol/L spd twotreatment compared with the control group ck,10-4mol/L spd treatment inhibited apricot fruitACO, ACS enzyme activity, better keep apricot fruit quality.(3) The turning color period “Saimaiti” apricot treatment by spermine, spemidineconcentrations of solution then storaged at0℃, sampling and determination of related index every five days. The results show that:10-4mol/L spm treatment reduced the apricot fruit decayrate, inhibition the increase in membrane permeability;10-5mol/L spd treatment of apricot fruitfirmness declined slowly, the decay rate is low, the content of Vc was well maintained, inhibitedthe increase of apricot fruit respiration intensity.This study shows that: apricot fruit by spermine, spermidine treatment the postharvest wasbetter than the control group; while compared with the apricot fruit effect of spermine andspermidine treatment find that apermidine treatment was better than spermine treatment; thespermidine concentration was10-4mol/L could made the storage effect of apricot fruit better.
