Osmanthus Codding fragrant cloves are an important landscaping trees, because of their attitude plump beautiful, lush tidbits huge, elegant color harmony and much loved by thepeople; but also because of the strong, strong adaptability, tolerance to drought resistance,barren, etc. in the gardens of the world’s widely used. The test selected lilac, red clove, Syringa reticulata three cloves of seedlings and seeds as the research object, its growth and physiological response to salt stress, comprehensive evaluation of its salt tolerance, salt tolerance index for screening for the establishment salt tolerant plant species breeding evaluationsystem and provide a theoretical basis. Through trial found:(1)low concentration (0.2%) Nacl three kinds of stress can promote seed germination rate increased cloves, but will inhibit seed germination Nacl concentrations greater than0.2%, with the increase of the concentration of Nacl,3cloves seed germination rate, germination potential, germination index decreased.(2)Nacl stress on three kinds of clove seedlings and leaf chlorophyll content of injuries affecting the index: Nacl stress reduced the chlorophyll content of three kinds of cloves, salt stress first appeared in the early lilac yellow leaf curl phenomenon. With the increase in salt concentration and prolonged stress, three cloves leaf edges curl varying degrees of symptoms of yellow, lilac among the most serious. In the latter three cloves leaves0.8%salt stress are showing varying degrees of gray-green, petiole becomes fragile, began litter the bottom of a large area of the blade.(3)Lilac leaves under salt stress in three protective enzymes SOD, POD activity increased with increasing salt concentration, clove leaf cells osmotic adjustment substances such as soluble sugar, soluble protein, free proline was a whole increasing trend. Changes inphysiological indicators clove seeds and leaves of three similar changes, lilac, red lilac, Syringa reticulata seeds of POD, SOD enzymes are elevated as the salt concentration increased and then decreased after the first show. Analysis of variance showed that SOD, POD activity changes in the difference between the different cloves significant; Three clove seeds free proline, MDA, soluble protein changes in the difference between the different materialssignificantly different from the same material difference between Nacl significantly. Correlation analysis showed that salt stress and other physiological indicators in three cloves of chlorophyll was significantly negatively correlated with leaf protective enzymes SOD, POD activity and soluble protein and soluble sugar showed moderate positive correlation with the content of free proline showed no significant correlation.(4) by three cloves of seeds and seedlings comprehensive analysis of the indicators were as follows: Three cloves salt tolerance of the order of red seed cloves> Syringa reticulata> lilac, lilac seedling salt tolerance of three order of strength Syringa reticulata> red clove> lilac, Syringa reticulata salt tolerance limit of about0.6%, red and lilac lilac salt limit between0.4%-0.6%salt concentration.
