This study investigated the harm of apricot being damaged by the Scolytus seulensisMurayama.Determination and analysis on the contents of the nutritive material, such as Soluble sugar,Polysaccharide, Soluble protein, and the secondary metabolites as flavonoids, tannins, total phenols, andthe activity of the defense enzymes as SOD, POD, CAT in the apricot bark and leaf which are damaged bythe Scolytus seulensis Murayama with different levels and health. The analysis of changing characteristicswith apricot inclusions in the same period after the Scolytus seulensis Murayama damaged, that explainsthe relationship between the apricot inclusions and the harmful levels by Scolytus seulensis Murayama, andClearly the relationship between the change of apricot inclusions during the damage period and the harm byScolytus seulensis Murayama. Discussion on the connection of different Inclusions in different time.Conclusions:(1)The damage by the Scolytus seulensis Murayama is related with the increasing content of thenutrient in apricot bark and leaves. There was a positive correlation between the damage level and nutrientsubstance contents in the apricot bark and leaves, The effect on the damage of nutrient content in apricotbark more significantly than the effect on leaf.(2)In June,July,August the three harm periods, marked difference was detected between any two ofthem correlation. There is closely correlated with the two-two comparison of three nutrients in apricot barkand leaf, The nutrient in bark leaves had a notably significant effect on damaged of Scolytus seulensisMurayama in June to August, the only significant amount in the content of soluble sugar that was chaged inJune and July in phloem.(3)The secondary metabolites content of apricot bark and leaves which damaged by the Scolytusseulensis Murayama was decreased, there is negatively correlated with the damage level and secondarymetabolites contents in the apricot, in the same hazard period, the damage effects of Scolytus seulensisMurayama that in secondary metabolites content of apricot bark more significant than the leaf.(4)In the three harm periods, There is closely correlated with the two-two comparison of threesecondary metabolites in apricot bark and leaf, which in leaf had a notably significant effect on damaged ofScolytus seulensis Murayama in different period, and it had no significant effect on apricot bark in June toAugust.(5)The Scolytus seulensis Murayama had a significant effect on the activity of SOD and POD in theapricot phloem and leaf, but had no significant effect on the activity of CAT, there is significant negativelycorrelated with the damage level and POD activity, and no significant correlation between the activity ofSOD, CAT.
