To explore the dynamic change of morphological characteristics, containing material and seed vitality in the development of hybrid rice seed, taking Lu Liangyou4026seed as material, sampling every other day from the third day that pollination at flowering stage of parents. Researched on change of morphological characteristics dynamics of matter accumulation, while seed vitality was tested, the results were as follows:1. Reducing sugar content was29.41%on the3rd day of the development of Lu Liangyou4026seed, gradually down to3.40%on the11th day, from the15th to the31st day they were less than2.5%, there was no significant difference. Soluble sugar content was high at the beginning of seed development, it was38.91%on the3rd day, down significantly during the10days, soluble sugar content was only2.77%on the13th day, then slowed down to the minimum1.48%on the15th day, there was no significant difference until the31st day. Soluble protein content was6.68%on the3rd day, increased significantly from the3rd to the7th day, then gradually decreased to7.5%, the contents remained around7%from the15to the31st day. Decrease of soluble substances showed that soluble substances gradually transformed to storage of soluble substances.2. Starch content was3.20%on the3rd day of the development of seed, while from the7th to the15th day starch content increase from8.56%to44.81%, from the15th to the29th day starch content remained at about60%, compared with the29th day, the content decreased significantly on the31st day. Amylopectin content in the seed was0.23%on the5th day, the content increased to21.12%on19th day, then maintained at around20%from the19th to the31st day. Change of amylopectin content and amylose content instead. Change of starch content was contrary to soluble sugar, this was similar to grain-filling of rice.3. Auxin content in the seed was97.71ng/g·FW on the5th day, increased to102.45ng/g’FW on the9th day, from the9th to the21st day decreased significantly and reached the lowest value44.72ng/g·FW, on the29th day the content increased, compared with the29th day, on the31st day auxin content had a significant downward trend. Zeatin-riboside content was13.62ng/g·FW on the5th day, decreased gradually and reached the minimum5.15ng/g·FW on the23rd day, but significantly increased to5.90ng/g·FW on the29th day, there was no significant difference. Auxins had some effects on change of storage matters such as starch at the development stage of hybrid seed.4. Abscisic acid content in the seed just was43.01ng/g·FW on the5th day, rose gradually to95.01ng/g·FW from the13th to the17th day, increased significantly to153.24ng/g·FW on the29th day, compared with the29th day, the content decreased significantly on the31st day. Gibberellin content9.79ng/g·FW on the5th day, decreased gradually from the5th to the29th day, on the29th day the content was just2.47ng/g·FW, but the content on the31st day was significantly higher than on the29th day. Abscisic acid and gibberellin in the seed had important effects on seed germination, hence their trend was different.5. Lu Liangyou4026seeds grew fast between the5th to the9th day, changed slowly between the9th to the13th day, then stabilized, showed that nutrients in the seed had formed on the13th day, seed matured basically, seed moisture content was high and had a certain seed germination ability, but seed germination rate was low, the seed germination rate was92.67%after harvest about10days, showed that seed had effect on after-ripening of seed physiology.6. The seed germination rate was only1%on the9th day, the germination rate of the11th and13th day respectively were55.67%and85.33%, then reached90%on the15th day, seed germination rate remained above90%between the15th to the27th day, decreased obviously between the29th to the31st day. At milk stage (1-9d) seed had no seed germination ability. But44.33%of the seeds still could not germinate, namely pollination with the same day, the development speed of individuals had differences. Germination rate was85.33%on the13th day, the seeds which had germination ability gradually increased, seed germination rate remained above90%between the15th to the27th day, so they had stable germination ability in this period. Germination rate respectively declined to87.33%and83.67%on the29th and the31st day, showed that seed in field grew too long to deteriorate and began to lose germinate ability.7. In process of hybrid rice seed production, cultivation technique, which effected on the parents, could shorten the pollination phase and narrowed the difference of growth in individual to improve the uniformity of hybrid rice seed lot maturity.
